I'm 100% stealing this. What a great idea.

I'm terrified that one of these days my Injustice Superman is going to fall apart. It already happened to IJ Batman.

Is it’s the Injustice 1 or 2 Superman? Cause those first injustice figures that came in the 2 packs are so fragile I’m surprised it didn’t break coming out of the package! I use the cyborg from that series and I know he’s on borrowed time

snake5289 05-30-2025 07:43 AM

The 2 packs from the first game.

If you so much as stared at those figures the limbs would break off

snake5289 05-30-2025 11:21 AM

I've had a tremendous amount of good luck then because most of mine have held up over the years. I have almost all the Injustice and Green Lantern figures and only a few gave me problems.

Atomsmasher 05-30-2025 12:23 PM

I mix it up with the Hiya figures luckly they hold up good.

snake5289 05-30-2025 02:01 PM

Finished it up last night.

Thinking of getting another one to make a black suit Superman.

Autobot_Goldbug 05-31-2025 07:25 PM

Looks great! Love the color! I thought about doing another cause I like a brighter blue for Superman. What type of pain did you use? I’m working on an ocean master, but the paint keeps rubbing at the joints

snake5289 06-01-2025 04:53 PM

Thanks. The blue is Apple Barrel Matte Award Blue and the red is Flamenco Red of the same brand.

The joints are a bitch aren't they. I just continuously dry brush (or try to anyway) with a q-tip and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Have you tried the sharpie acrylic markers? There aren’t very many colors and the red is disappointingly pink, but that’s what I’ve had the best luck with.

I've tried using those big fat sharpies on joints and letting the ink set and then painting over it. That works sometimes.

This is what I’ve been using, I would compare the quality to the Tamiya or citadel paint. It usually takes 2 coats, but they don’t leave any lines. I’ve tries other brands too, for more color options but they scratch off easier

snake5289 06-02-2025 12:21 PM

I may have to try those.

I "chromed" X-23's claws with them.

The description doesn't mention for use on plastic. They stay on pretty well?

That’s a great idea for the claws! Does it crack or chip if you bent them?
Yah the sharpie sticks really well. It seems to just be some sort of modified acrylic paint. The only think I’ve had trouble with is it rubs off on joints, but it still does better at joints than most of my other paints
Here’s the ocean master figure Ive been working on with the markers. Just need to figure out the cape

If anyone here is interested, I decided to make a Subreddit dedicated to Collecting the 3¾" - 1/18th Scale of action figures! All brands are welcome! Be sure to drop by and say, "Hi" if you use the app! Looking forward to seeing and sharing with you!

dude, this is really cool. Do you increase the height of Batman?

snake5289 06-04-2025 08:00 AM

Nope. I think the IJ2 head is bigger so maybe that did it?

And thank you.

KollectorKombat 06-04-2025 02:50 PM

Thanks fellas!

Got in the Hiya Toys Injustice 2 Superman! I think he turned out awesome. Nice and solid little figure with decent articulation and nice details. Plus he fits in great with my F5 Arkham Batman, so I got everything I wanted out of this purchase. Will definitely be looking for the rest of the League in this line.

snake5289 06-04-2025 02:56 PM

I have Flash, Darkseid, Wonder Woman, and Black Canary. Had a Batman but he took a big fall and broke.

They're pretty great figures but Flash is too tall to fit in with most of my other DC figures. They're also getting pretty pricey these days.
