I like the redesigns of many of the older characters personally, just not the way the characters are translated to the show. Bebop, Casey Jones, Rocksteady, Metalhead, The Ninja Frogs (especially Napoleon,) they all kinda stink compared to previous versions. Bout the only characters I think they've done better are Leatherhead, Baxter and Rat King. But as the show has stated, it's an alternate reality (since the Turtles did see their 80's cartoon selves on a trip to Dimension X) and of course, we're seeing it through rose colored glasses, because most of the people I know with young children dig it.

Ehhh i caught a few episodes of it a month or so back.... i was really not impressed. 80s??? I thought early 90s... i could be wrong. I feel old lol

Could have been from the early 90's episode, considering how bad the series got over the years and they definitely spoofed that in the episode, but the original series itself debuted in syndication all the way back in 1987.

Thanx Guys I Appreciate it. I have always wanted this Blade since it was shown. Its too bad he would make an awesome figure for everyone's Marvel Collection.

I know some people probably already knew about this, but I just learned that the next wave of Spider-Man ML figures (after the Absorbing Man wave) was sussed out via UPC listings in a retail computer? What's everyone's thoughts on the supposed wave?

Spider Silk - 630509402632
Shocker - 630509402656
Miles Morales Spider-Man - 630509402663
Spider-Girl (Ashley Barton) - 630509402670
Peter Parker - 630509402694
Electro - 630509402700

Personally, I just want Electro to be the classic silver-age outfit, with the green-and-yellow scheme and the ridiculous lightning bolt mask. And Miles, love me some Miles. With an interchangeable unmasked head, I hope?

Yeah, heard about this list a few months ago. Miles, silk, and ashley are a must for me. I'll wait and see for the others. Really looking forward to miles more than anyone

If this is the case, Electro and Shocker are it from me unless the BAF is something amazing. Oh, but Electro needs to be his classic version or looks close enough to the classic one since I already have the terrible movie one. No interest in Silk and since I haven't bothered with the last 3 Spider-Girls, I'm sure as hell not going to care about another now.

I had no idea who Ashley Barton was, but hopefully she and Silk will both have unmasked and masked heads for their respective figures along the line of the upcoming Spider-Gwen. I really feel like this should be mandatory for many of the Spider-characters, especially the women, here on out.

Excited to finally see a Peter Parker, and I hope that the Electro and Shocker are classic versions of their respective characters, especially in the case of Shocker as he has been one of my favorite C-tier Spider-Man villains for the longest time.

As for Miles...I'm still rather pleased with the ASM Miles that came out way back when, but again, it's an opportunity to produce a new buck, as well as new options (such as interchangeable heads and hands.) I really cannot stress this enough, I hope in the case of many of the more popular masked characters, that Hasbro starts releasing unmasked heads to swap out with those figures.

Spyne98 12-14-2015 10:56 PM

I was under the impression that the Peter Parker figure was a Black Costume Spider-Man. If this wave is real, I'll take all of it!

warmachine6 12-15-2015 03:11 AM

if thats the new spidey line i get to save money, interested in electro and shocker, maybe parker depending what they look like

Spyne98 12-15-2015 07:13 AM

I want a new Elector and Shocker mostly because the ones I have are from toy Toy Biz days and they both have firing gimmicks. Electro's arms are stuck bent at a 90 degree angle and Shocker looks like he ready to ride an invisible motorcycle. Shocker vibrates too, feel free to insert a dirty joke there, haha. I will admit however, aside from the arms, the Shocker looks very good.

Ashley Barton goes by the name Spider-Bitch. She's from the Old Man Logan book. She's the daughter of Hawkeye and somewhat of a Kingpin. She also has a striking resemblance to 2007 Rihanna.

That said, I am happy to see her and Silk show up in figures. Now I am kicking myself for not picking up May Parker to have all the spider-women.

lordbest 12-15-2015 07:37 AM

I'll get Morales, Silk and Barton, maybe the rest if the BAF is good.

Captain Nash 12-15-2015 07:38 AM

Silk for sure, maybe Shocker. I'm really saving money on these three confirmed waves (two SM and CA: CW), one for sure of each and maybe one other of each and no interest in the BAF. I'm not sure what Spider-Man build a figure would convince me to get this second SM wave.

ultraman zoffy 12-15-2015 08:51 AM

I'm going to assume that Morales Spidey will be on the Superior Spider-Man body; if it were a straight re-release of the Walmart ASM figure, that'd be pretty messed up. lol
Calling it now, Peter Parker figure will be the Marvel NOW corporate version with a Parker head plopped onto the Chameleon/Coulson body. CALLING IT. =)

There are quite a few obscure (to the lay person/child) characters in that line-up. In spite of not being completely wowed by this line-up (outside of the emergence of a killer BAF), I hope the risk taking (character-wise) continues...

As it stands, I'll take Miles-Shocker-Electro-and maybe Silk

Dang they made a figure for her...nice...Kind of kicking myself for quitting the ML line, but let's hope she gets the 3.75 treatment then...

Kirathis 12-15-2015 01:34 PM

Silk for sure. Miles if it is good enough to replace my Walmart ASM figure. Otherwise, meh. Knowing my luck the BAF they choose will be awesome and facilitate my buying the wave LOL.

Captain Nash 12-15-2015 01:34 PM

Sometimes I don't understand Hasbro. We get Ashley Barton, but no official ML Mysterio, Jackal, Hydro Man, or Morlun. I mean it's great because it's another female, but frankly I'd think characters that show up in one story (maybe she's in others?) should be given a lower priority than longer standing characters. Unless you count central characters to iconic stories of course like Dark Phoenix.

never mind, I see she had one appearance up until Spider-verse which I haven't read yet but intend to. I guess it makes more sense now.

Personally, I'd rather have a Mattie Franklin. I mean, if they want to do another Spider-Woman, why not one with a more striking, less 'I copied Spider-Man' costume? Sure, she's currently dead, but what does that have to do with anything?

As for Ashley showing up in other stories, with Web Warriors being a current ongoing, it's possible for her to have more appearances.

Kirathis 12-15-2015 02:05 PM

Ashley was also one of the more prominent Spiders in the Spider-verse event so that gave her a bit more exposure.

I've been watching that fig out of the corner of my eye for a little bit now. I'm just not comfortable with the average asking price for it, but I'll nab one if the price drops following this new release. It's a nice fig...
