She may be very 90s but that was one strong woman, rich, powerful, ran her own company, she was a complete badass. If they did C&D, and then did an SDCC swapped set with Negative Man, I would be all over it. http://imgc.allpostersimages.com/ima...er-huggung.jpg |

I was unaware that Cloak and Dagger swapped colors (and I assume powers?). It's a neat change. I would want classic costumes before new ones. |

A very special thanks goes out to kenm2474, for pointing out where I could find his excellent Blade head cast. As a result, here he is a few weeks later, as I finally ended up finishing my own (although, slightly different from Ken's,) Blade custom today!

It feels so good to finally have this guy in my collection! |

I wish that I had a MAC10 in the proper scale, as the one from the original Blade figures is too big and doesn't fit that well in the hands...but I think the MP5k makes a suitable substitute. Plus, the MP5 I had (which came from those old Matrix action figures...) fits in that wierd "cosmic cube" gripping hand perfectly, eliminating the need for me to chop up another figure to complete the custom. |
I agree that the holster works really well for what you are wanting. That is the great part about customs. You can tweak the look to serve what you want. I agree, that cube holding hand is irritating.
I know the feeling all too well of making things work how you want. I am still trying to piece together the parts I want to use for my custom Punisher. I never bought a Punisher for my collection as I am not too thrilled with any of the Toybiz or Hasbro offerings. |

I don't mind the cube holding hand so much, as it makes for some great, classic vampire "hissing" poses, which works with the head sculpt. Finding a weapon that could actually fit in it without pointing down at the ground in some weird angle was a ***** though...lol. I'm now torn over which pistol I want to use for the pistol hand, the Steve Rogers laser sight pistol (which is accurate to Blade's pistol in Blade 2,) or an extra Robocop Auto 9 I have lying around....which bears a resemblance to his Mac10 from the first film. Decisions, decisions...lol I'm really surprised (and curious as to why) you didn't like the Toybiz series 4 Punisher. I'm always preaching about it, but I believe in it. I really do think it was one of the best Legends figures ever made. |

The biggest issue I am having so far is deciding on what buck to use for him. I have a ton of various fodder Bucky Cap based figures so that would be the easy choice but I am not sure I like that buck for a Frank figure. I may end up deciding on the buck based solely on what I come up with for gear. Steering away from a trench coat look in favor of a tactical assault look. Probably because I absolutely LOVE the Punisher that Loosecollector did a month back. Edit: Yeah...so after looking at the Loosecollector one again, I realized one of the heads may actually be that series 4 head. It has just had new hair sculpted and a new paint job added. It's amazing the difference it makes as I really like it but as mentioned was not a fan of the series 4. I think maybe the stubble paint on the series 4 is what seems off to me. Who knows. |
I am good friends with David aka Loosecollector.

So, I got my Amazon 4 Pack yesterday...
Couple of issues and how I fixed them.. First off, Bruce the way they had him in the box, presses on his knees, bad. When I took him out his knees almost touched together. They were bent really bad. Next is Thor. This guy had 2 major issues. 1 being his right foot was not pushed in far enough leaving a gap and making his right leg longer than the left. the 2nd being his right arm, stuck like a chump. This thing wouldn't move for nothing. The fix.. pretty much the same for all three issues. I boiled some water, not to a rolling boil but enough where you see the little bubbles starting to show up. While I waited on that, I got a nice sized bowl of Ice cold water. Then I dropped the bottom half of Bruce in the hot water for 30 seconds. I took him out with his floppy knees and put my fingers between the knees and held the feet together and dipped him in the cold water. After a few seconds his knees were nice and hard again and this time they were straight. On to Thor, this guy took a little more to fix. I started by popping off the head just to give me less to screw up. I then put his foot in the water for 10 second and popped it off to see what was wrong. I actually did both feet so I can see the difference. The only difference I could find is the hole on the right foot is a tad larger than the left but nothing major. So, I put both feet on and pushed them in pretty hard and dipped them into the cold water and the foot was fixed. The arm, the major issue. I started by putting the arm in the hot water for 10 - 15 seconds and slowly and carefully popped the arm off of the shoulder. I didn't want to accidentally break off the peg in my pursuit in fixing the arm. Once the lower arm was off, it's onto the shoulder. I put the top half of Thor into the hot water for 30 seconds. While I waited I dropped the rest of the arm into the cold water to harden it back up for now. I also found me a nice small flat head screw driver. After 30 seconds, I slowly pried the shoulder out of the socket. If you watch what your doing, and make sure the shoulder and socket were in the hot water for 20 - 30 seconds, it doesn't take much to get the shoulder out of the socket. Once it was out of the socket, I started to look at it and it's not even stuck, it's just really tight. So, I just played with it for 10 - 15 minutes, moving it back and forth, ect. Once I was sure they it's loosening up, I heated the socket (Thors upper half) and the shoulder itself in the hot water for 30 seconds and popped it back into place. You must heat up Thors upper body / shoulder socket. If you don't you will never get the shoulder into that socket. Once it was heated up, it popped right back into place. After that, it was just heating up the lower arm for 10 - 20 seconds and popping it back onto the shoulder piece and then dipping the whole thing into the cold water to harden it up. After that, the arm worked as it should, no issues what so ever. So, let me say, if you attempt to fix Thor, make sure you use hot water and not put him in the freezer like someone else said. If you put him in the freezer, it will harden up the plastic and snap. If you heat it up, it become flexible. I wouldn't heat it up and just attempt to move the socket but, pop it out and move it around and put it back in. I hope this helps at least one person. |

I have been studying his Punisher and others all day (hey it was a slow day at work) trying to piece out how others have built him and to get inspiration for my own. I really like the look of LC's, I just wish I knew what shoulders, arms and hands he used as they fit so well but I know they are not the original pieces. I would be terrified to pry open my figure to do a shoulder swap as I am sure I would break it. |

@Ken
I'm pretty sure he was referring to his 'Unleashed Hulk' as "no longer being cool" after seeing your custom...not you personally. Multi Flavor Appreciation... http://i1380.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7hrckq3a.jpg http://i1380.photobucket.com/albums/...pswow4kthe.jpg http://i1380.photobucket.com/albums/...pscqve6njj.jpg http://i1380.photobucket.com/albums/...psb4xxa7o1.jpg http://i1380.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3qpnz1a0.jpg http://i1380.photobucket.com/albums/...ps6uveibwx.jpg http://i1380.photobucket.com/albums/...psgndbh7bl.jpg http://i1380.photobucket.com/albums/...ps4vbwbtp3.jpg ...the numbers are stacked in favor of the Guardians, but I predict a very long day for our heroes...Where's Angela? and ChuckSass was right, we need an armored Gamora, just so I can add her to set-ups like these lol |
