Same company, just the classics line. These guys are bigger so they can do more with the articulation but I prefer the look of the modern Turtles. The white eyes and each turtle looks more unique.

Personally, I agree with ya, I do like the look of the new ones more then the classic line, but the classic line looks amazing for articulation and reminds me of my childhood figures but 100x better, bicep swivel, thigh swivel, double jointed elbows and knees, finger and hand articulation, ankle pivot and then the rest of normal articulation, with a classic looking headsculpt, They look nice. I still say it goes NECA, then new TMNT, then Classics, then vintage.

Awesome. And just to be clear, the Shredder and Foot Soldiers you passed on were NickTMNT, not Classics, correct?

I'm getting so behind on toys. I need to pick these guys up.

Is that the Cap to end all Caps MU wise??? Is that the same one from the walmart gift set minus the clear shield or that the one from the LUB one?

megajonzero 07-28-2012 12:24 AM

Found The Mandorin and Ironman comic pack at Target right before I went to see the TDKR. Passed on the Collossus and Juggernaut set. Collossus looks terrible in person.

I'd say pass. I own three myself, and they're really not that great. Can't pose them or anything. If you want ME figures, go for the play art ones if you don't mind paying quite a bit per figure.

Thanks for your input, Viking. Posability/articulation is a big thing for me. Tat and line longevity, which this does not have. Maybe if I see them on the cheap.

I like the 6" ones a lot. Not only for their articulation and weapons but I also appreciate their classic look. However, the new Nick ones are great updates and the ones I'm buying. I couldn't pass them up.

Saw these packs at TRU today, but I'll be damned if I'm paying $23 for one.

FancyPants 07-28-2012 05:15 PM

WalkingDeadpool: Those are the ones I want, not the little ones. I really like those turtles. I'm running out of space.
