I love what Marvel has managed to do and how they've believed in these characters but 10 years ago comic fans thought an Avengers movie was impossible and they weren't marketable. There is a reason Marvel still had the rights and that is because X-Men, FF, Spider-Man, etc were viewed as bigger draws. Marvel basically willed all this into being by making quality movies and making a good number of them. |

Nice pic. I've said it before, but I LOVE that Random custom. always one of my favorite obscure characters, and you nailed him! if you ever get sick of him hit me up! also how do you connect the foam wall pieces together? I don't even see a seem!

The Walls are connected simply with hot glue. The trick I have learned is to connect them, and then come through with the Hot-Wire foam cutter to shape them together. That's how I am getting away with the somewhat "seamless" look. |

Which nick fury is the best bang for the buck? I think I see like 4 different ones on ebay

I like the avengers assemble Fury for the new look. For classic Nick there is only the mail away, but that one is worth the price on accessories alone. Last time I looked you could still get him for like 15$-20$ on Ebay.

I kinda like the jet pack one with the trench coat and blue outfit
|
that's the Avengers assemble one. he's my favorite. Movie Nicks, you have the IM2 drone pack exclusive from TRU, the Avengers movie one. cartoon Nick, just the AA fig, and for old white guy, the mail off figure. easy custom if you want Nick Jr, get the Steve Rodgers director figure, pop the head, replace with movie nick, bam your done (maybe some slight skin tone corrections on the neck and fingers).

Adam warlock was only available via the 2 pack right?

Non clear: Infinite Glove Clear/ empowered: Infinite Glove "powered up" Now for the shipping status of the orders from Sunday, and Monday. Most of the orders for Sunday, and Monday just went out a little while ago when my shipping clerk stopped by. I had some parts in for about 4, or 5 other orders, and the very last parts are in right now. So I'll have him send out those orders tomorrow when he stops by, and I'll start sorting the orders for Tuesday through Thursday by color, and plastic type after I pull out the parts that are in now, and sort them in the morning for him to get them shipped out. Once the Tuesday through Thursday orders are sorted by type I'll print that, and the invoices out, and get to work on them. |

What I did was use an AA Nick, head swap for Sam Jack Nick, then painted the body black over the blue. Left the white boots and straps white so he matched Maria Hill, much easier than painting the black one white. Both can be found from the Chinese sellers for under a tenner for the pair. Also, the all black movie body that is left over makes a GREAT replacement for Blade, or just order a vampire hunter kit from vort and put them on that buck. MUCH better than the generation 1 body.Never cared for the IM2 one because of the soft goods coat, I like mine plastic. Use the extra AA head on Steve Rogers body for the NOW look and use the Steve Rogers on one of a dozen different bodies for an unmasked look. It is a win win win win situation. |

So my Mistress Death arrived from eBay today. Despite the fact she is basically a statue, I think she looks good. I'm interested to hear how you are all displaying her - flesh or skeleton? I dug out my old Infinity Gauntlet comics and she appears mostly in her flesh form in that series so that's what I'm leaning towards.

As far as Nick Furys go I personally feel the original mail away is a must have and for the price it can't be beat. If you have more MCU figures then you need the Sam Jackson Fury. My favorite is the IM2 drone pack because of the "leather" trenchcoat he is wearing. I bought 2 so that I could put the coat on punisher as well. I also have the Blue and White AA Fury and I like it a lot, but he has to go with other AA figures as that is his design basis. Then again you could always get them all and head swap around until you find the combination you were looking for. Again this is all personal tastes. The articulation is on par with all of them the only weird one is the IM2 drone pack as it is actually on a G.I. Joe buck like Professor X.

I would say get all the nick furys, all solid great figs and each different (sr, jr, and Sam Jackson movie style). I saw a bunch of the legends movie ones on clearance back in 2012, passed cuz I only got 3.75" stuff back then, now they are worth their weight in gold almost. |
My Nick Fury is my current in the works project. I'm using the IM2 Sam Jackson Head & Hands, Steve Rogers Body, Mail Away Fury Shoulders & Gear, Punisher Boots. It'll be the Mashup fury but will look awesome when completed.

[QUOTE=jmurray90720;553533]Alternitavely, an original Brotherhood set would also be awesome.
I would just like to state that JMurray put together a package for me that came to my house very quickly and is packaged most safely and incredibly thoroughly beautifully well done. I'm very very happy I have only high praise for JMurray high praise! I will be sending out your Scarlett Witch tomorrow, curious if you need sunfire? |
