I am. I only ever got the one, I'd like another.

My Baroness arrived today. The only problem on my figure is that the disk for her left foot hinge has like an entire extra layer of plastic on the back so it gets no downward movement whatsoever. Everything else though is great. The paint is very cleanly applied except for on her right gauntlet piece but even that is only marginally off so from any distance it's nearly undetectable. Everything but the left ankle hinge moves well with no loose or overly tight joints so that's nice. Of course she pairs fantastically with Destro so now I've got that power couple leading my bad guys. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...70e85469_b.jpg I actually like the COIL bike a bit more than I thought I would. It's just sculpted with enough detail to not be boring to look at and there's a little bit of fun to rolling it around. I think the guns that mount on its side are also pretty cool so that helps. Really the flat red color is the main detracting quality. If the red had been shiny, metallic, or maybe even just a darker shade it might have looked a bit better. Obviously Baroness is the intended rider but I actually quite like how the basic Cobra trooper looks on it, maybe it's the added blue color making the flat red stand out less since there's more color now than just black, red, and silver. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...205e64cf_b.jpg |
^ Looking at that bike... if the front wheel didn't stick out so much it would actually look pretty cool IMO... like if the wheel was more directly beneath the front windshield it would look more like a normal Japanese import motorcycle.

From the Baroness photoshoot over on Hisstank.

Yeah the COIL certainly gives off heavy Kaneda's bike vibes but then I also see some elements of the Batpod from the Nolan trilogy with the way the front wheel extends and the side-mounted weaponry. I think it works overall since Cobra vehicles tended to be more sci-fi looking than the Joe vehicles, plus Destro still seems to be the producer of the cutting-edge sci-fi weapons (look at his Star Wars laser gun) so I could see him making his girlfriend a future-bike. With the way Classified leans into sci-fi I think it might have been kind of lame for Baroness' bike to just be an off-brand looking Suzuki or Ducati like what was included with the Marvel Legends rider series Black Widow.

^ Oh wow... I think you are right on with the Nolan Batman motorcycle comparison... especially when Anne Hathaway Catwoman is riding it... I think that is the look they what they were going for with the Baroness/Catwoman parallel.

New Snake-Eyes is amazing. No loose joints like the first one has. The sword sheath easily fits into the back hole and stays there, which is nice. Unfortunately, the heads can not be switched due to them both having two different types of pegs.

I got the Classified movie Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Baroness in the mail together. Overall I think that they are nice and Baroness is probably my favorite of the three. I get why they did it, but I kind of wish that Snake Eyes would of been in the outfit that he wore for most of the movie instead of the most traditional costume that he only wore for the last minute of the movie. Baroness's silencer being a separate piece was a nice surprise.
The only quality control issue I had was that my Snake Eyes figure's leg was not connected at the thigh swivel. I just popped it back on, but it was surprising to see it off in the package. |
Just opened my Arctic Storm Shadow and WOW is that a loose torso joint!

Anyone ever tried the super glue method? I have never worked up the nerve to try it but have read positive comments regarding it in the past.

The one positive about super glue is that it works quickly. For the negatives though: 1. Screw it up and the joint is glued together. 2. It can leave a white residue that can’t be cleaned off the plastic. 3. It’s harder to control how it is applied to the figure since you’re squeezing out of a bottle. 4. If the super glue is too thick, it won’t seep down into the joint. |
