I know there are other Monster High collectors out there. I saw the School playset (85$) today at K-mart. They had a bunch of the new stuff too. The Create a Monster Lab (40$) and the 2 new lab add-on kits (11$) as well as their K-mart exclusive 2 pack. Also Target has been doing their new reset and they had the new Skull Shores 5-pack, and the Target Exclusive MH Scary Tales figures (3 in the set)

I only have the Create a monster Skeleton Girl (who reminds me of Katy Perry for some reason?) and the Create a Monster Dragon and Werewolf expansion set. My wal-mart just got in a huge shipment a few days ago though of some of the sweet 1600 figures as well as 1st wave (with the pets) Draculaura, Spectra Vondergust, Clawdeen Wolf and Frankie Stein. They also had one Operetta that went pretty fast and several of the Cupid Chick (who's name I can't remember at the moment...) |
I picked up the Toys R Us exclusive NECA cloaked Classic Predator last night. I was after the Snake Predator too but wasn't able to find him.

[QUOTE=Snailbot;335242]Nice pick up, Jackieboy! Sentinels shake with their left hands... good to know when they come to get us.
Thanks :) figured it would go well with Ultron. |

I was not patient enough, but I still got it.
http://www.toyark.com/members/trowa1...62/ff-2262.jpg Yesterday's haul... had to find my FFF4 figures. http://www.toyark.com/members/trowa1...-turt-2263.jpg Just got back from walmart, thought I would just look at the toys... nearly fresh case! http://www.toyark.com/members/trowa1...atman-2264.jpg Now all I need is Ras... anyone like anything on my BST??? (not that anyone would want to give it up) |

That's it, I'm caving. TRU here I come.
Hope they restocked the turtles and still have the Doom/Spidey CP. |
I found all the Classic Turtles at TRU today! They are so sick
|
Well, they had the Doom/Spidey CP still, but I just couldn't pull the trigger since they didn't have any turtles.
That felt like a wasted trip. T_T They did have the X-Factor set, but the paint apps looked horrible. Lots of paint drips and splatter. Apoc, sinister, iceman and angel looked great, but Jean and Cyclops were definitely QC rejects. |
All my Targets were filled with turtles yesterday, Id try there also.
|
I know this should be in the other thread but I "passed" on about 4 pegs full of the Turtles at Target
|
Small haul for today!!! But I finally found a ML Ghost Rider TRU (might be opening this one!), at Target I got TMNT Leonardo (told myself I was only getting Donatello, Yeah Right!!! Looks like I may end up getting all 4!!!) and I hit wally's and got a Captain America on clearance $11 and a few MBX and a Hot Wheel!!

I do know the differance between Dolls and Action Figures. Marvel Legends and the like are Action Figures, to me meaning plastic parts and sculpted outfits and accesories that are plastic and generaly under 10 inches. (with a few exceptions) Dolls to me meaning 10 inches or taller with rooted hair and cloth outfits. So I consider Monster High and Hot Toys products and such, dolls. Yes I said I consider Hot Toys dolls aimed at collectors. I don't really care what people label things, Boys toys, Girls toys, Action Figures, Dolls, or whatever. I get what I find interesting or cool and don't buy stuff I think is crap. But to each their own.

So it's really whatever when it comes to toys. If you like it and it's fun to you then awesome. If not then oh well. One man's girls dollhouse is another man's avengers mansion. One man's ken doll is another man's civillian military retiree with wife, and so and so on and so on. |
[QUOTE=Snowflakian;335507]I'll try the many targets around here tomorrow then when I go to the bank. Hopefully I'll get lucky. None of them had any the other day when I went looking, so I picked up a gladiator figure since I'd been putting him off anyway.
If you are looking for Turtles, Target seems to be the best so far. This week I hit 6 different Targets and they all were doing resets in the isles and Turtles were everywhere. And they all have the Turtles in the isle with pokemon toys and stuff not the regular action figure isle (Marvel, SW, TF , and such). With them be in cases of 24 at a time (4 of each turtle then the rest of the assortment) they seem to be in abundance. |
