Hey check out this add on amazon, it appears to be some kind of x-23 varient, but when you look at it close you can tell it's a custom paint job, that looks resealed, the figure is listed at 3 bucks plus 6 bucks shipping, but who knows if it'd be these custom repaints, of if that is just some picture they found or what is going on. in anycase it looks kinda cool! anyway, let the discussion begin.

it looks like a custom with someones logo right in the pic.

nm: the logo is the sellers. I bet I can find the figure though

yep. it's Alan's custom figure. Amazon seller jacked his pic

Thanks I just bought it:P Cheap enough custom, when I get it, I'll let you guys know. I've seen this custom from this seller as well on Ebay, but he customized the card art.
Marvel Universe 3.75" New X-men X-23 Custom MOC variant | eBay
What Wolverine said as well...Although I think the logo is on the image itself and not on the card.

wolverine2281 12-22-2011 10:42 AM

yeah he did 2 of them. I think the yellow one might have been a commission though. Exodus, I doubt you will get that one.

If I don't get that one, I'm demanding a full refund than through my Credit Card company of course =) Less hassle...

Here's there info on this company.

If you read it thoroughly they do designing as well...so they probably design that X-23.

Because some people may have missed it the first time around, for whatever reason.

What I don't get sometimes is the ratios they choose for their cases.

Hmm, I see that they do design stuff but highly doubt they did any MU stuff. I would just go ahead and cancel your order. There was only one of those X-23's made and I doubt the 15 he has is stock are that one :)

Going to let it ride and see, I did message the company as well, asking if it's the exact same one and if it's a custom. I figure 8 bucks won't break me, if anything I'll just end up with another X-23 figure and can return it back to them.

yeah, I just got sent the wrong figure from Amazon last week and had to send it back. Refund was just issued, now have to wait for it to clear :/

I wonder why he has another one listed:
Amazon.com: Marvel Universe 3.75" 2011 Series 04 - X-23: Toys & Games

as well as duplicates for some other figures.

D Day 12-22-2011 11:26 AM

I would guess what shows up isnt as pictured, but you never know.

Price difference too. Hmm very interesting, I may cancel by the end of the day if the company doesn't get back to me.

Buyer dispute if this was like Ebay:P That's why I'll dispute it with my CC easier and less hassle.

I'm with you though, i'd wait and see, I mean whats the worst you are out 8 bucks, and you have an X-23 to trade to someone.

D Day 12-22-2011 12:18 PM

I'm gonna order one too and see what happens. I usually dont like to pay for shipping on amazon. but since the total price is only 8 buck a roo's i'll roll the dice

I know right the price is just right to test the theory if it's a custom or not. If not it becomes trading fodder to either an arker or back at the store for something more prime :)

That's probably the better point overall. Sure, throw in an older pack or two (hopefully of things in high demand), but keep the ratios stacked on the new items!

I don't get why they refuse to do a revison wave of Vision, I don't even want him, but I know many arkers and non arkers for that matter, that want him. But insted of being cool, and screwing over the scalpers that are charging 80 plus dollars a pop for him and putting him back on shelves for 8 bucks. The just leave all the collectors out here flappin in the breeze.

Agreed. I had to settle for the phasing Vision. Speaking of revisions the only one I've seen is the ones with X-23, Cable, Spider-Woman, Doc Samson and Cap. Marvel. But none of the Guardian, Iron Fist and Electro one. Kind of bummed by it =(

Peteparker 12-22-2011 12:49 PM

I'd like a half-way phasing Vision like the custom I've seen here.

I'd also like that on Kitty Pryde, rather than a fully transparent Iron Spidey.

Tiberius 12-22-2011 12:54 PM

I just need Vision head and cape. HOOK ME UP.

Isn't the translucent Vision relatively cheap? I would think that would be just as easy to paint/customize...

Not cheap enough just to make a custom haha.

Exodus 12-22-2011 01:15 PM

Sorry I know this isn't Marvel related but I know there are some Trans collector's here. Who's getting this? And this probably won't make it to the US Retail?
