So, Civil War was one of my favorite events in Marvel. Everything you thought you knew got turned upside down. I know a lot of people HATED Civil War, but it beyond me as to WHY? Anyways, as their slogan went...

Who's side are you on?

I know mine...

TRAITOR!!!
Heroes shouldn't have to register!

But seriously, I agree Tiberius. Civil War was amazing and anyone who disagrees can go suck a nut. ;D And really awesome picture btw! (even if you did pick the wrong side...)

Looks like I might just have to counter this with a shot of Cap's Rebellion squad...hmmm....

LORD MARVEL 12-25-2011 12:51 AM

Merry christmas everyone!!

Do it, right now. Love to see one haha. To get into a small Civil War discussion. I liked the idea of Heroes being trained by other Heroes, government or not to help them control their powers. The X-Men do this so other Super Humans should have to. I didn't agree with the methods, but meh, made for an epic story! =D.

And Merry Christmas Everyone!

Do you have a minimum? I'd like a Constrictor loose if not.

Thanks my man for clarifying. I just about depleted my PayPal fundage, but I will ponder. I am sure I can come up with four figures from your BST.

Arrgh, I totally would...if I wasn't at work right now. :/ But don't worry, Cap ain't going down without a fight...so watch your back!

And about Civil War, I totally agree. I loved every aspect of the story especially the training of heroes for that purpose, and Civil War was actually the event that first got me into reading comics on a consistent basis when it came out a few years back so it'll always hold a special place in my nerdy heart. :D

My personal favorite aspect of the story is basically how "real" it all felt. By having Thor dead, and Hulk "exiled" it gave more of the focus to the street level heroes and the story (imo) all the better for it.

Now don't get me wrong, I love Marvel's big bombastic events as much as the next guy but "Civil War" resonated with me because it asked a very hard question and treated it with respect and care instead of resorting to old tropes (mind control!, Clones!..Mind controlled clones!) and it was one of those events that could I could easily see happening in real life if metahumans existed... :)

Whew.. after that "nerdgasm" there for a moment, lol. Wouldn't it be sweet if we got a whole set of MU Greatest Battles Civil War 2-pack's? (ala Secret Wars) I'd love to have a Herc vs. Ragnarok set or Battled Damaged Cap vs. Iron Man from the final issue.

Ah shit...now I'm just getting myself worked up again...

Haha well, They did a Gigantic Battles with Ragnarok and Black Goliath. It would of been awsome to have a Yellowjacket with Hercules or something. The controlled supervillains was a long shot for me when it came to being "realistic feeling". But it added the "OH SHIT, THEY WENT THAT LOW?" kind of feeling. I think I need to start reading Civil War again, it is by far my favorite series ever. As for Hulk being shipped off and Thor being "dead" was honestly a brilliant move. I LOVED the character change or whatever we want to call it of Tony Stark. So awsome. Oh, and here are some MIGHTY AVENGERS pictures =3.
