My Dc multiverse dry spell actually paid off I went looking for her and the rest of the wave today and found the new target 80th Batman wave with Batman Joker and Ivy.
I picked up Poison ivy. Since I don’t own a Classic outfit of her in my collection she’s certainly not the best figure. But I probably just bought her because it’s the first time I’ve seen a dc multiverse in person in forever

If I see that Ivy in person I might still get it, but goddam I just can't get over how Mattel reverted to their old bait and switch on this one. She looked great at Toy fair and now she's so bleh.

Yep exactly. But what’d ya expect. It’s Mattel. Their basically EA. Of the toy companies. Tbh Ivy isn’t as bad lookin in person. She’s about mediocre. But I think with the lack of detail on the face, Mix matched skin tones and the picture of the Toyfair one still in my mind. Is what really pisses me off and makes me disappointed in the figure. I’m stall not 100% sure if I wanna keep her.

Now let's cool our jets here, Mattel may slip up now and then but to compare them to the horrid dumpster-fire that is EA goes too far. Now if they start selling us figures at full price but blatantly missing entire limbs just so they can sell us those parts later to complete the toys, then they will have truly become the EA of toys.

I’m curious what they’ll look like. I’m a bit disappointed with the lack of Flash and different characters. But I understand why. He wants to start with the heavy hitters because they’ll sell better then characters like Constantine,Blue beetle etc but still. Definitely can’t understand why he’s doing Animated figs the same time Dcc is but. If they look good I’ll definitely buy em

Hmmm, not sure what to think of that list. Really gonna to need to see pics/sculpts before I bite. Glad to see these are being proclaimed as being in closer style to their Fortnite figures, I've heard good reviews on those.

Well unless they really WOW me, with that selection and especially that scale guess I'm out. No desire to start all over. Just enjoy my DCUC and Multiverse.

Well with the figures coming from the new Batman /Superman comic that starts soon, I can at least guess the design style of the Batman , Superman, and Batman who laughs. Most of the others I would guess will be mostly from modern or fairly current comic designs.

Wish Nightwing wasn't so large- but he's still a great figure. I just don't like him being taller than Batman- so I'm going to try out Icons and see if I can finally find my ideal Nightwing.
