Technically Aunt May can beat Galactus, because I'm gonna be a writer and make it happen.

kylactus 10-11-2014 02:03 PM

as long as he breaks her hip during the fight I'm in.

Fantomex is a merc and is more scientifically and intellectually gifted than Wade, and he's an asshole (I like this character because of Remender, but it's technically part of his character that he's an asshole). Deadpool is (or was apparently) above average on intellect, but that's not gonna save him from getting beaten by a better opponent. Wolverine, Punisher, Moon Knight, Slayback, Hulk, Thor, Colossus, Iceman (AoA Iceman straight up killed him), Stryfe, Squirrel Girl, and some others have beaten him. Seriously though, Squirrel Girl has an amazing track record, she's beaten Wolverine, Doctor Doom, Thanos, Deadpool, Terrax, MODOK, and the Mandarin. Much respect there. Back to wade, to me a part of his character is that he doesn't always win and that he knows it.

the story where he goes hopping through different universes and finds the one with a green deadpool called deathwish, then finds deathwish is doom and that the only thing that makes this universe different then the core one is reed richards takes deadpools brain tumor out and he kills all male heroes and villains and enslaves all the female ones, he wears dooms armor and goes by deathmask, it reveals that without the tumor he becomes an evil mad genius and with it he is just a mad genius, also in doom wars either reed or someone else ponders that deadpool isnt completely random in what he does but actually really smart and carries plans out in such abstract ways that no one knows what he is doing and if it is even in is plan in the first place, if my memory serves me right, which would lend bases to the first arch, though we are talking about fictitious characters in fictitious stories that always change, evolve or get disavowed, so there is that but i forgot about fantomax being a anti-hero, though i would say he has an unfair advantage being made with 3 brains and all lol

En Sabah Nerd 10-11-2014 05:13 PM

I guess it's some Memento level shit, he makes a plan and then forgets that he made it, but that's part of the plan.

Actually I think she was somehow infused with the beyonders powers.

redx24 10-11-2014 08:27 PM

My bad she never fought him but she was a herald known as golden oldie. She had a super baker make his snacks.

So we have to wait until spring 2015 for these!?
I doubt we will even see them then. Probably the GOTG wave will be out then. :p

da fuk

also why are they making all the different thor costumes like they do with iron man and spiderman?

i never thought thor was that popular, honestly never thought iron man was that popular as well but armors are cools so i understand that and the movies have elevated him but that doesnt seem to happen for thor so it makes it more confusing to me that they release this many variants for a fig that seems no one is clamoring for variants of especially variants that require new sculpts

Technically she did beat him. Her goal was to stop him from eating Earth.

So thank you for helping prove the point. (It wasn't 616, but still counts!)

It's also how you explain Pet Avengers stories.

kylactus 10-12-2014 08:42 AM

^ I think heavy drug use and boredom are how you explain pet Avengers stories.

redx24 10-12-2014 10:23 AM

Anyone else's e bwant a golden oldie figure now?

Nah, that's Doctor Strange stories.

Pet Avengers stories you can blame on the effects of staring at too many cute and fluffy critters.

You've seen Hasbro's stock transformers photos right? And they still sell truckloads even mis-transformed in those.

I think it's a non-issue.

(Though on other things for that saying, I entirely agree!)

Not really a tf guy but I can imagine

Primacron 10-13-2014 02:32 AM

I wonder whether Hasbro might take advantage of some of the films coming out for MI; we're getting a Shanna figure, so Ka-Zar probably isn't far behind, who would both go well with some Jurassic Park dinosaurs.

Dracula Untold is a reboot of the Universal Monsters franchise, so figures of Dracula, Werewolf by Night, N'kantu and Frankenstein's monster might all be quite timely.

Maybe for SDCC!

bmorr 10-13-2014 07:44 AM

I doubt we'll see a movie tie ins for MI. Hasbro seems to be getting wet for 6" now, and leaving 4" in the background. GOTG and ASM2, CA2, and IM3 being the beginning of 4" disappointment in terms of movie lines. It is going to be a long time util we receive what we got from the IM2 line. Why wouldnt they continue what we had going 2 years ago when legends and MU co-existed just fine together at retail?

samsson37 10-13-2014 09:06 AM

I just want the Vulture to actually come out, along with the varients of Sandman.
As far as Shanna her head will be used for a proper Madame Viper ...all hail Hydra !!!
