Nice haul.

Man... How these Super Power line's figures' cloth capes cover the figure's shoulders is so terrible. It just looks so cheap on each figure. It totaly ruins everything. I wish McFarlane didn't use cloth cape with this line.

I'm glad they're cloth for that vintage throwback feel, but I agree. They are rough. I've been getting swap out capes from capemaster on Instagram.

Oh, Nostalgia is everything, ofcouse. I didn't know they were remake of some old line from people's childhood. I understand the appeale now. Childhood is everything when it comes to toys.

I didn't have them around when i was a child so they are no value to me. That is just all.

Another Tuesday. Another batch of new toys.

Dotanuki 07-26-2023 05:03 AM

Nice haul. Superman vs Doomsday looks good, but it is too late, there isn't any left on BBTS and ebay shipping cost is just too much, not worth it. Man... New Mcfarlane Spawn figures look so cheap and terrible... I miss the old Spawn figures. They didn't have many articulations, but their sculpt and paint job were very good.

Cyclopswc 07-26-2023 06:50 AM

You always get the new stuff first, you must order direct from Mcfarlanetoystore.com, and they must love you!

I got most of them from Target this time!

I like that the new Spawn figures take up less real estate than the old ones, because they aren't posed. But, I would love if they had the same level of paint as the old ones.

Some some boys in blue. And a surprise from Best Buy. No shipping notice or anything.

It's like TMNT's version of V2 Snake Eyes.

It really is. The weird part is that it actually scales better with Classified than with NECA.

That Captain Atom & Scrap Iron looks amazing.

They are both really great. Scrap Iron may be my favourite Classified figure.

ScottyHawkeye 07-31-2023 06:12 PM

I'll have to get my grubby paws on him soon then.

Dotanuki 08-01-2023 06:52 AM

Shipwreck ! :D He was my favorite Gijoe when i was little.

Must be Tuesday again.

Woah, that is a nice Batman haul! Love the blue and grey one. Also did not know Batman put on the yellow ring till seeing your figure and googling it. That is a rather fitting ring for him in a way.

Absolutely. He didn't have it for very long, but seeing how his whole schtick is striking fear into people, it was a perfect fit.

New toys.

That Superman Vs. Ultraman 2-Pack looks cool, although I wish Supes did have a better head sculpt.

I can't disagree, but it's so ridiculous, that it's actually got some weird charm.

Got some more new stuff today.

Man... Todd is really bombarding the market with those DC Multiverse figures. I am glad, i am not committed to the DC Multiverse line, even if i am a DC boy. I am already broke most of the time because of S.H.Figuarts, Mafex, Mezco One:12 and Amazing Yamaguchi. I don't really have room for McFarlane, if i want food on the table...

That Superman vs Ultraman figure, who is the little character next to Ultraman ? I read Forever Evil, but i don't remember any character like that. May be she is from Morrison Earth 3 ? I haven't read that one yet. Other than that i can't place the character, the costume of him/her looks too modern for any kind of classic story.

Alan Scott, Green lantern looks tempting. May be i build a JSA from DC Multiverse Line. I believe Todd also made Classic Jay Garric Flash, but i need to be careful about my budget.

I know. I'd be just fine with it if he'd slow the pace a bit.

That is Atomica. I think that's her look from Forever Evil.

The Road Runner should have been the Flash! Blasphemy! Especially considering Wil E. Coyote is on the team as Batman.

Could use a Lola Bunny Wonder Woman too!
