Interesting that Namor will be a WG exclusive. It may take a while but when I see him I'll pick him up. We've still got plenty of Venoms and Ant Mans in the aisle (which I have picked those up) and I have seen DD a time or two...did not pick him up nor did I plan to.

I'm not a huge Namor fan, but the figure looks nice enough that I may snag him. It'll give Tiger Shark someone to fight.

If IG stands for Instagram, that explains it. I don't have accounts or the time to dig around on IG or Twitter, so unless I see it on one of the major sites, it slips under the radar for me. I might have missed it somewhere, but I hadn't seen anything on Namor at Fwoosh, Marvelous News or Action Figure Insider, as well as Toyark, other than his announcement at this past Toy Fair.

I am still thinking Panther will be an individual release, I'm just thinking that Cap and Iron Man were shown off as well since they are already hyping the whole "which side are you on thing."

If Panther is released as part of a set, I am fully expecting it to be one with a MCU Spider-Man. I have a feeling due to the partnership with Sony, they are going to push him that way, so they pay less ultimately in royalties, although I could be wrong there since we did get ASM2 figures based on the film in Legends format.

I got the comic. I don't know what Hyperion's powers are, but it appeared he used some kind of X-Ray Vision blast out of his eyes to sever his head.

I really like the way that Namor looks. Definitely getting one of those.

And last there are a ton of the Walgreens DD around the Denver area that I've seen.

Hyperion is literally just Superman but in Marvel. He and his team were created as a pastiche of the Justice League in an alternate Marvel universe (separate from 616 to begin with) and had some honestly quite dark and serious stories. It was almost like the Justice League meets Watchmen in tone. At least that's how all of the old Squadron Supreme comics I have are. So yeah he has super heat-laser vision like Superman and uses it to decapitate Namor, at least he made it quick and didn't torture him first or anything.

I was kinda disappointed he didn't. I was expecting Hyperion, being the ahole psychopath he is, to take him at the knees then the groin then the arms THEN the head. Oh well. Maybe next time. :)
