^ Ha that didn't even occur to me! you should totally do a Doc Samson He-man repaint!

so Raf, just curious are those spare Visions, or have you started collecting "head facing slightly left, slightly right, and straight" variants? that is awesome! The paint looks amazing on those! I've only seen him in pics, but his paint looks head and shoulders above almost all other MU figures.

Lol, no just spare visions. It's an old pic though, I only have 2 now. One belongs to my friend UKMU, remember he won that contest a while back.

Lol, you've got that right. So, in the meantime, with the help of my friend skywarrped, Iv'e been working on completing the "neglected" X-Men Origins Wolverine 3.75" toy line I have. I think I just completed it (single carded only MOC). I know of 20 figures but if you guys know of any single carded I'm missing, please let me know.

That Wolverine Movie line might be the most all encompassing 4" movie line that Hasbro put out. You had Walmart exclusive figures; comic characters, obscure characters. After that we got one maybe 2 series of the main character with a single pack of a different character (i.e. Sif in the Thor wave).

you know Raf, I was just watching some DVR's of "Toy Hunter" and something occurred to me. Jordan is basically a glorified scalper! why the hell dose he have a show!?! they need to do a collector show featuring people like you that love the hobby and, for no personal profit further and encourage others to get into it. I'm not going to slam the Toy Hunter, sense any mainstream attention to toy collecting is good for the hobby, but I think you definitely put out a much better positive vibe, while being a serious collector, than some guy that that's just flipping everything he can undercut out of some old lady's attic!

Well thank you very much amigo! You're too kind.

@kylactus.... don't believe the haters out there. The Vision is with out a doubt the greatest painted figure from ANY toy line EVER. Yeah, I said it. It is soooo nice in the sunshine, another thing that no pic can show you is the subtle shimmering sparkle in his cape! The plastic even feels different to any of the others.

He is a real gem. An absolute treasure from this toy line. He shines like a hot rod and anyone would be proud to have him. When my son's friends come over and get figures out they ALWAYS ask about him and ooh and awe when they hold him! Pics or remaining in the box will never show the true nature of his beauty. Worth the price for sure, and I hope you all get to enjoy him someday.....

Hey guys, a couple of questions:

1) Which marvel legends/select figures fit in with the MU stuff? Im waiting for the watcher to come out and having a BAF Giantman, but any other guys?

2) Are the DC collectible 3.75 figures in scale with the MU stuff? Im thinking of picking up the lantern corps.

3) Is there any customiser lurking in this thread? I have a couple of figures Im dying to own and would need one!

1) The compatibility thread has a pretty comprehensive list. There are a few across several lines that fit. Man-thing, the BAFs, and Ultron just to name a few. http://www.toyark.com/marvel-univers...-thread-70489/

2) Some are, some aren't. It's a figure to figure thing and line to line. The multiverse ones do, DCIH is hit or miss depending on character. And the Video game two pack ones vary.

3) Someone will be available to answer your question shortly, please hold.

haha, no. local retail is a lost cause. buying online is the only avenue now. toy hunting has become a waste.

ukmu 11-09-2014 01:44 PM

oooh....snap!!! Some one got a new computer (for free from my techie mate) and also has FINALLY has the camera upgrades to upload pics and FINALLY can send some appreciation out starting this week!!!!!!

PS.... welcome aboard Shunquan!!!!

Captain Nash 11-09-2014 02:34 PM

just dropping in to say that this weekend, I saw Wasp in a brick and mortar store (target) for the first time. Given the numbers on the rest of the figures they must have gotten at least cases in (there were 6 Grim Reapers) and only one Wasp. Maybe they are trying to stock up for the holidays after all.

By the way, I don't know how you MOC guys are displaying your MI figures. I just don't know what to do. Look at my display so far... I'm not happy but how else can I stand them up without them falling down???

http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1415489379

A collector friend of mine uses some peg boards to display his MOC figures. Not sure if you have the space to do this or if you like the design, but it's just an idea. Here's a pic of one of his boards.

Yep storage of both carded and non figs and vehicles have been quite a issue for me. Like ur peg system.. Wish i could do that to free some space but i cant hang stuff cuz ii dont own the walls.

Cool, that just might be the route I'll take with these figs.

I had hoped to get a movie one but it dosent look like AoU is getting 3.75 figs.

shunquan 11-10-2014 04:38 AM

Thanks guys, I just looked on prices for Mephisto. OUCH

samsson37 11-10-2014 09:34 AM

Its Mephisto did you not know it would cost you your firstborn..

Captain Nash 11-10-2014 10:53 AM

So I don't really know if this is the right place for it because it's speculation rather than appreciation, but I wanted to take a look at maybe the next year of the MI line and see what figures we could realistically expect Hasbro might put out (if the line lasts that long which I hope it will.) Not a wishlist but more of an actual list of figures we can more likely expect Hasbro would market rather than just being what we personally want. I hope that makes sense. I'm trying to do this a little differently.

I'm going to start off with 16 figures, to cover the last two waves of 2015 and the first two of 2016, estimating a total of 4 new figures per wave. This is in no particular production order. Feel free to add reasoning, and don't necessarily limit to just 16 figures or do less if you want.

Just all I ask is that these guesses do not just turn into personal wishlists, that's all great but I'm throwing some logic in here this time.

1. Emma Frost
2. Executioner/Skurge
3. Blue Marvel (recently retconned character who is getting a decent push now in the comics)
4. Tigra (always seems to get a figured made in the lines somehow)
5. Sasquatch
6. Snowbird (added only because with Northstar and Aurora is seems they are really trying to push out Alpha Flight characters for once)
7. Shaman (same reason as above)
8. Gamora (we already know this one will come, from SDCC votes)
9. Lady Deathstrike (pretty much the last major X-Men Villain not to be made, I know I do want her as well but I think there's a logical chance here.)
10. Forge
11. Collossonaught
12. The Hood
13. Kingpin (popular villain and maybe a push from the DD series)
14. Venom
15. Carnage
16. Captain Marvel (we already know this one will come, from SDCC votes)

I normally would not have put #6 and 7 in this but I just have a feeling and think they may try to finish what they started with Northstar/Aurora. After all those two were also surprising choices. I'm going to note also that while most of these are my extended wish list, 10 of the 16 are not even in my top 30 most wanted figures and only 3 are in my top 20 (they all happen to be in my top 10 though)

I also think there's a good shot before the line ends that we may see Viper, Domino, Moribus, Silk, Pyro, Avalanche and Maria Hill but I know that's very female heavy and I was trying to not put too many female guesses out there, maybe 1-2 a wave at most if we're very lucky.

soundwavempl 11-10-2014 11:04 AM

I think will AoU coming out, I can see MI re-releasing MU Ultron and hopefully Vision too.

Personally out of those I could stop collecting once they put out Emma, Captain Marvel,Gamora,Kingpin........*drumroll*...MUTHA FREAKING SKURGE !!!!!! So I can have the Master of evil from EMH !!!!!
