Blizzard
Titania
Valkyrie
Ultimate spider woman
anti venom

They're all just boxed up without BAF pieces
Taking space up.... these things are hard to sell too had them on ebay twice i believe.

I was fortunate in that someone sold me the Hobgoblin parts that came with the Spider-Girls and Anti-Venom for $20, so I didn't have to bother with them.

There's something satisfying though about completing a BAF on your own though. I know there are going to be figures I'll be selling off in the future (such as Bulldozer), but still...

Just set them for a lower-than-retail price, then. You'll still be making money back on your purchases. It's worked for me in the past.

I have, first time as a buy it now or make a offer then i tried a auction. Never even got an offers the first time the auction got 2 bids but i had a reserve price. While i want to get rid of them i don't want to just give them away.

I love that Hasbro are offering such a wide variety of characters now who appeal to different people, because those were actually some of my favourite figures from last year.

As far as selling them goes, I wouldn't put them up yet. To get anything back from recent wide released figures, you have to wait two years or so for them to gain any value. I'm sure they'll start to perk up in price by the end of the year!

IMO that's not the "official Jean" :P Just one pulled from the past into the present...not the one that has gone through her ordeals...

I'm not really following the new X titles, but from what CV said was that he disappeared and they THOUGHT he was dead, apparently he was abducted by i believe Sinister, not 100% sure and they had him interact with the terrigen mist ( Inhumans thing) and he is now transformed to some sort of beast.

I saw that part, that's seems stupid, hopefully it's just a Cyke clone and not the real Cyke....

I am surprised Mockingbird didn't use that buck. I just wish they didn't give that figure wedges. Super heroines should realize wedges aren't cute

Hell i've been even up open to trading on here ,but all our members have these figures.

I notice the legends market specifically talking about selling on ebay, when an item is new and hot , these things will sell super quick. and or if it's a older one but sought after.... a good example is i put up the new Venom that came out in the absorbing man wave i of course kept the BAF piece and literally 5 mins after i put it up on ebay it was sold for the price i was asking and they paid shipping immediately.

However these characters that i listed just seem like they're on the B character listings lol. no one wants em.

I would love to get into the new Uncanny series with Magneto, sabertooth, psylocke etc but i'm already buying too many titles as is.

I'm already getting regularly pulled for me
Amazing spider-man
Spider-gwen
Spider-man 2099
Carnage
Venom space knight
Daredevil
astonishing Ant-man
howard the duck

And i might end up getting into Old man Logan which came out this week, and also with in the next few months A Moon Knight and Black Panther series will be starting...... Mind you i didn't mention the DC titles i get pulled as well

I believe so.... can't think of her name considering im not home now and i can't look. the one with the red outfit that came out with the hulkbuster wave.

Dr Kain 01-27-2016 02:05 PM

Yeah, these Marvel figures are really pulling me into the series and I haven't been a Marvel collector in over 18 years. Sure, I've bought the occassional Spider-Man figure, but then I ended up getting rid of it a year later.

These figures though, I am absolutely in love with. The problem I have is not owning characters I don't know about, but what I know will happen. After Mattel completed the DCU stuff I found myself really only doing anything with my top favorite characters. So as much as I loved having Killer Moth, Stargirl, STRIPE, etc, they just stood there in the same pose and collected dust. I already see it happening with my Marvel figures as Hulk Goblin, Dormamu, Thundra, Hell, Electro, Blizzard, Misty Knight, White Tiger, Fury, Superior Spidey, Coulson, and Hawkeye have been in the same pose I put them in since I first put them in the case.

It's why I am kind of glad to be starting over with the DC Icons line, as I am trying to buy responsibly, but so far, that hasn't worked out for me.

Starlord67 01-27-2016 02:39 PM

So... A bit off topic but... Are Cyclops and Emma Frost still an item? I'm hoping NO as I've never liked that pairing. I'm old school.. I want the old original Jean Grey back and her back with Scott! Oh yes and Scott not to be some mutated jack@$$.

Let go of the past, friend - we must ever be looking forward.

- Emma and Scott were pretty much split as a couple before Secret Wars. Don't know what Emma's up to in ANADM, but Scott's currently in Sinister's clutches. If that's really Scott.

- Jean is dead, and defying all comics laws, has remained so, while her younger counterpart is exploring a brand-new life as her own person. Let's not go digging up the corpse when the writers have actively avoided it themselves.

- Scott's been a mutant jackass for years :D

Starlord67 01-27-2016 03:05 PM

Now I thought Jean was not "actually" dead and was hanging out in Limbo as some "White Phoenix of the crown" as was the case in End song.

I like Emma... Just better as a villan

See its been a loooonnngggg time since I picked up a comic.

cjranck 01-27-2016 03:21 PM

So here is a dumb question as I basically quit reading anything when Marvel Now started (except the Secret Wars event), but what is the deal with the wolf/dog head that comes with the new Captain America Legends figure and when did that story line take place??

VonPooten 01-27-2016 03:32 PM

I can't understand the dislike for Thundra, Dormammu, Blizzard, Misty Knight or Hela at all. They're some of my favourites for sure, with great individualised looks to each of them, and are all displayed happily.

Zend 01-27-2016 03:33 PM

I need help from someone that has a Annihilus wave Planet Hulk figure. Is the head a hinged ball post so the head can be popped off and back on easily like most standard Hasbro Legends figures, or is it one of those pain in the ass thin pegs that go all the way up into the head like the Big Time/Scarlet Spider mold? I haven't found a single review that mentions it.

CAP-WOLF! Steve got turned into a lycanthrope during the 'Man and Wolf' story that ran through Captain America #402-#408 (July-October 1992).

Captain Nash 01-27-2016 03:58 PM

@ Van and Boy Blunder, I know right? We got a huge amount of great stuff last year, but i think the best "set" over all was definitely the SDCC set. Every figure in that set is perfection to me.

Awesome pics, man! I love that pose on Moonstone, she looks ready to beat some azz! I agree about finding the hate for figs that look better than most to be strange. I don't think my tastes are that far askew of the norm. Thanks for the big-up on the X-men pic, I thought you might get a kick out of it. It did take a minute to assemble that stand, but I've taken a break from X-life to snap some shots of the Cap wave. And don't worry about noting me for display ideas...I'm glad someone other than myself thought it was cool!...and it gives me a shameful opportunity to revisit one of my favorite sets of pics! ;)

Speaking of Moonstone, someone on eBay has a lot of her, X-Force Deadpoool, Dark Wolverine, mib Captain Marvel, and mib White Tiger all for $130 shipped. That's a steal, only reason I didn't buy it is I don't need any of the figures included.
