Isn't Karla supposed to be released as a single later this year? That was my understanding. I full gave mine away to my comic guy (who sourced the set for me at SDCC), expecting that I can re-aquire her later.

I'm just really stoked that Songbird is coming out. She's more essential to the team (imho) than some of the choices in the set.

The new marvel legends set big bad store has em. I paid now im waiting for shipment.

BAD MOON 07-30-2013 07:26 PM

I had a Jean on pre-order but cancelled because I wanted the whole set, so there is currently (1) one Jean available at BBTS. If anyone is interested..

No no, there's 1 Satana, when she's a human she's Judth Chambers. If I'm right, she was called Judth Chambers after Marvel re-wrote her life story as the daughter of an all powerful demon as opposed to the daughter of Satan himself, but she's still Satana.

I assume she's Judth Chambers in the set, because for whatever reason if a kid got it, it wouldn't be demonic, terrifying or sacrilegious…*even though she has her boobs out and the only kid that would even want her would be me… because I was a fan as a kid, and gay kids love cleavage.

I'd totally have bought her off you. See, I don't wanna take a chance, I'm still slitting my wrists over Moonstar, so I want to know I have Moonstone incase Songbird is the only one released

Damn the newest wave sold out quick on bbts all they have left are scarlet spiders so I went ahead and ordered one. Luckily I ordered a modern Hawkeye from a chinese seller a while back and I gotta say he's a pretty sick figure. http://i.imgur.com/DSEOsRN.jpg?1

roshan 08-03-2013 02:48 PM

Got my case in from bbts. No variant surprises in it.

Wrecker
Classic Jean
New Hawkeye
Red Shirt Variant Punisher
2 pointless spidies
Black Panther
Cap (no change from first version I can see)

miles morales 08-03-2013 03:21 PM

So I know they already cancelled some of the Wolverine Legends but now I'm scared they trashed the line altogether bc the movie has came and gone and still no sign of the figures.

They are a Diamond Previews exclusive now. Go to your local comic shop and pre-order them.

miles morales 08-03-2013 05:11 PM

yeah i know that just seems like they should already be popping up in stock online and on ebay. oh well here's hoping!

my local comic book store said September :L

ML in my area seems to have reached a stagnation point. Haven't even seen anymore of the IM3 wave 2 figures, even though some stores have completely sold through on wave 1 and should have moved on to 2 by now. Hopefully, things pick up soon as we near Autumn.

Come and gone? The Wolverine has only been out for 10 days, and it made more money this past weekend than it did for its opening weekend (roughly $69 mil.). Seems to be doing fairly well to me.

Of course, if retailers aren't willing to carry the product, it doesn't matter how well the IP is doing at the BO.

Haha that's gold. Satana is a really great figure though. Moonstone is on her way. I'm still mad we won't get a dark ms marvel though.

Ps take a photo of that Medusa in the back

Just a quick head swap onto a spare Black Widow body (with revoltech joint ankles for better heroics) I had laying around so I could use the newer Medusa body for fodder. I actually like her better this way...

I love the new upscaled X-23 style bodies of Moonstone and Satana, but the hips don't have the greatest range on them. I was thinking about trying to boil and pop them off to mod the hip piece for wider range, but this new plastic they're using seems really brittle to be playing around with. In fact, it has a seam now which indicates it's the same hard plastic as the upper body section... kinda bummed because I thought it'd be the softer plastic that MU figs are made of (easier to mod).

itMFtis 08-06-2013 09:53 AM

I could be wrong, but I don't think the new female molds are necessarily sporting upscaled X-23 bodies. I hate the X-23 body they've started using on MU females, namely from the waist down. The recent Legends ladies have much less awkward articulation below the waist.

If it isn't an exact upscale, it's darn close... same style of articulation all around except for the MU body having a neck hinge and the ML body having bicep swivels. The proportions on the ML's is much nicer, but I think they at least used the X-23 body as a heavy influence. I'm just glad that the new female body actually resembles a normal female now. :)

Any fellow ML customizers have tips on this:

http://www.toyark.com/question-about...05/#post454080

Posted in the custom discussion, but it looks like folks don't travel there often... thanks!

Serious Lee 08-09-2013 05:43 PM

Hi there, I'm new to the Toyark forums and almost exclusively collect ML. I know that Hasbro has decided to make future waves of Legends to correspond with movie releases, what waves can we expect after the Wolverine (Puck) wave in November? That is, other than Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America 2? Thanks for the input and I look forward to discussions on the line
