Those masks are definitely cool. Unfortunately they're from the worst of the 3 movies.

DarkestKnight 07-09-2012 08:55 AM

Not sure if posted, but if anyone wants to check if their Target has them in stock...

It's just for the assortment, so they are all the same DCPI.

Might be able to through the website if they are listed but I;m not sure. Usually the first person to find them can get it off the receipt or a price scanner.

raiden225005 07-09-2012 12:32 PM

if I remember correctly the last two of the dcpi number for the turtles 4 inch is 94, the last 2 of the basic vehicles is 96 and I believe the deluxe vehichles end in 97. I'll have to check my reciepts when I get home but its just the last number thats different between each item.

Thanks guys! After several days of bouncing between 3 TRUs the SKU plus the locator helped me get them all on my first stop at Target. They were not on the floor, but the clerk went in back and got them for me.!

Did you just tell them the DCPI number and they went to get the stuff?

Brownfinger 07-09-2012 03:28 PM

It probably varies from store to store. At my first stop, the website and the store operator verified that they were indeed in their store, just not out on the floor. So when someone in toys was called to go look, according to him, they didn't exist.

Yeah. Okay, dude. If you don't want to go back and get them, or you're not allowed to, then just say. I'm an adult, and ultimately they're shaped bits of plastic that really aren't that important. But at least have the decency to tell me the truth, you know? Instead of feeding me some line about them being mysteriously absent because it's more convenient for you.

Okay, rant over. :raph

Agreed.

Sometimes management will prohibit pulling items from the back, but most of the time its not an issue for them.

Yea, it's a trip. My local TRU, that hates anything Marvel, are putting these out as they get them it would seem. I go to a TRU about 45 min away and this muffin top chic tells me "she" has them in but "she" will not be putting them on racks until the 15th (or one day close to that). So I says to tha bitch, I said BITCH... lol, jk. Anyway, my hunt is almost complete. Just need to find Leo and I got my boys. BTW, I know the plastic weapon thing is kinda weak but I honestly took it as nostalgia. I feel like I'm 10 again messing with these things.

yeah hearing diff reports of people getting denied figures cuz of a street date. just got the 3 turtles i needed from target after asking for some help from an employee. there were actually 2 remnant figures sitting on an unmarked peg from the last time i went and was able to point out on the cardback which ones i was looking for. had also scanned it in prior to asking to make sure that the "in stockroom" notification said "yes". guy headed into the stockroom and came back with the figures i'd shown him. easy peasy.

Yep. Guy was pretty cool about it, even made sure he grabbed one of each available for me. My plan if he had not was to ask to talk to a manager and explain that the website said it was available at this location and I had made the trip out there based on that, and if not then they should not advertise that it is. Then ask for a corporate complaint number or some bs like that if they still refused lol.

Screamer52488 07-09-2012 05:34 PM

Can anyone confirm that TRU is putting these in the preschool section? I've been checking all weekend and nothing yet but I want to make sure I'm not missing them somewhere else.

While I was hitting the 3 by me two different employees said they would be because of the Nickelodeon tag on the package.

There is no street date. That's just employees either being mis-informed, making assumptions, or just trying to avoid having to go get stuff.

Brownfinger 07-09-2012 07:42 PM

Yeah, it's really just luck of the draw. Keep at it, eventually it'll work out in your favor.

These things are showing up in stock rooms all over.

D00MTR0N 07-09-2012 07:43 PM

these have nothing to do with a movie, why in the world would there be a street date?

It's not unheard of. Very rare, but not unheard of for a toyline to get a street date when it launches, even if it has no movie.
Sometimes they organize it to a specific event (Like SDCC), that they don't want a line launched before then.
Most likely these have no street date, but stores are waiting for new modulars to drop. (Mods are instruction sheets from district home offices, telling them how to set up their shelves.)
That's my guess. Combined with employee laziness.

megajonzero 07-09-2012 08:00 PM

Are the classic turtles also getting released at retail or are they online exlusives or anything?

D00MTR0N 07-09-2012 08:02 PM

is there a certain date these are "supposed" to drop at?
