I really hope we see this spider-man wave on the shelves in time for Christmas. I so want every figure in this wave.

I was very surprised at this as well - it's easily one of the silliest Cap stories ever but I guess the wanted an easy two for one and ran with it.

There's actually a weird affection for the whole Capwolf storyline. Sort of the whole "So bad it's good" sort of thing, plus it's given folks something to joke about for years (kind of like "Bag Head Spider-Man." That and it came towards the end of what was otherwise a pretty underrated run on the Cap Title (Mark Gruenwald's).

So as a quick one-off alternate head, it's a pretty cute idea. The kind of "easter egg" that hardcore Marvel fans tend to enjoy. It's not like we don't have a few unmasked Steve heads over the last few years already, so doing something different like that punches up what might be a somewhat lackluster figure otherwise.

And not a single X-Men. Mutant discrimination, that's what it is.

I'm really hoping someone casts the Nuke head so I can use it as Eddie Brock on the new Venom Legend.
