More moderators or something is clearly needed.

At an automotive forum where I'm a moderator, one of the settings the Admin had set up was that new users could only start one thread per day. Then after they'd been a member for a few months, they could post more, but that way new members could only create one thread and we could quickly ban him, delete the thread, and move on. It also had the advantage that older members could post without restriction so it didn't effect them.

When they form the fellowship of warriors, a wizard, and some hobbits to safely deliver the one ring to Mordor so it can be destroyed the Dwarf Gimli says it after everybody else in the party pledges their weapon to the cause so now I'm saying it to fight spam.

Why do they bother posting so much spam when all the titles are in foreign characters on an English using site? It's not like I'm gonna look at the title of one of their spam threads and go "yeah I recognize these words and believe that checking this out will be a good use of my time."
