Viper is seen in the toy comics IIRC (Renegade's, piloting the Blade Fighter?).

I personally wish we knew if NECA is going to be producing a fully painted Stalker later down the line... I for one do not like GitD figures and much rather have them completely painted. If they are not planning on a painted version then I will have to pick one up and paint it myself (not a preference)...

The pilot in the comic is just some generic predator wearing silver armor. Viper gets the privilege of being NECA's first original predator, I say combat armor Lost doesn't count because it's still the Lost character from Predator 2.

I was sorta expecting Leader's bio to say he claimed his position by putting an end to Nightstorm's menace back in the day, I thought it would have been a fun way to tie in another figure and call back to how Nightstorm's bio sets him up as the first evil super predator.

I was confused because they intended to ship the Fighter with the figure but I don't know that they did. He's certainly one of the best ones.

Yeah, I'd have expected Nightstorm to get a mention. Has Leader's bio been seriously beefed up over the original?

Viper is great. He was meant to come with the Blade Fighter but I think reactions to him were too strong for NECA to ignore so he was released individually instead. I think they also said something about lowering the cost of the vehicle.

The originals didn't have bios per character, just a general explanation of them hunting.

For NECA products I always pre-order through Big Bad Toy Store, though often I can get the figure from like TRU sooner so then I'll cancel my pre-order. Usually either NECA's Twitter account or even BBTS's Twitter will post when new pre-orders go live. Most NECA items are available for pre-order the same day they are officially announced, so in that way the Toyark itself alerts you to what's new. Few NECA items pre-sell out and remain sold out until release and even when an item is brand new there are always plenty of ways to get it without breaking the bank. The xenomorphs seem to be the main exception in my experience, the windows to get them at retail price are much smaller than any other NECA line.

am i the only one disappointed the ultimate P2 doesnt come with his rebreather mask head -_- , which would of been awesome

I wouldn't say disappointed but it would have been cool. It could be an easy update once the ultimate figure has been released to do a battle damaged version in the regular line with chopped off forearm and breather mask.

i mean it is for me , i prefer preds with their bio mask so would of been nice to have that mask head. but its whatever i guess, ill buy if nothing else is out that month.

Who's to say NECA won't produce a SECOND, battle-damaged, Ultimate City Hunter down the line?;)

After all, they do multiple Ultimates Terminators to reflect different moments in the movies...

They did make the battle damage celtic so you may be right about that

Yeah I was saying I hope they do get around to it but just not necessarily as an ultimate figure but simply another figure in another wave of the ongoing line. I don't think the teased jungle camo jungle hunter will be released as a boxed ultimate even though it's on the new body, they showed that with the new Kenner homage wave they're incorporating the new bodies into the standard line. We could in theory get a new final battle damaged jungle hunter too on the new body.

Which series started the new body mold?

Series 8 introduced what has been the standard for Jungle Hunter based figures which upgraded the hips and knees from the originals. Series 14 introduced the new body used for AVP Predators which was completely new with more articulation than any Predator before. The upcoming ultimate figures introduced the new upgrades for Jungle and City Hunter bodies but we've seen that they're incorporating some of the new stuff into series 16, which was initially shown as using the standard bodies, so technically series 16 will be the first release of some of this new articulation.

When this line was first released Spiked tail was the least of my favorites but now he has become the one I am looking forward too.

Oh those are all so badass looking.

I really have no connection to the Kenner Predator line but Goddammit that Ghost Predator looks sick, even though it's basically an albino Jungle Hunter and it's very basic it just does it for me, especially with the updated articulation.

Dammit, I can't get enough of NECA's Predator line. They just keep getting better and better.

That said, I'd kill for a remake of the Borg/Battle Armor Lost Predator with the new highly-articulated Pred buck NECA's developed. The Borg is my favorite Predator but his articulation has some issues, including elbows that barely bend as all.

Ghost was originally my favorite in the line and he is still really awesome. I am more of a fan of the faces than the masks but I am super happy that they made the masks removable so now I don't have to choose.

As too Borg though, after reading the backstory on Borg I think Borg may have found himself staring across a campfire one night and seen a light silhouette in the dark. Borg having left his sword and armor a little too far out of reach his only defense was the shuriken he had on his belt. Experienced at sneak attacks anyway Ghost barely dodged the throw catching Borg on a return throw with his disc. I mean It looks to me as if Ghost has Borg's knife (The original movie accurate incarnation).
I like Borg's sword idea but I didn't really care for the sword he had. That picture of Spike though with Borg in the background looks really great. Borg and Spike look like they could be from the same battle group. Seeing as how they both have high tech armor it wouldn't be a stretch to say they run together.
Also where does Ghost store his knife?

Stalker I am still unsure of. I love the concept I feel like they missed the mark a little with the back story. It is an attempt at something different and I commend them for that and I always like having something different in my collections. They will also go good with the glow in the dark alien and eggs so I think it works in that sense. it will make a cool diorama scene that is view able in the dark.

The masks for these three were always shown as being removable. The Kenner homage figures and maybe a few comic figures are the only way NECA can do removable masks so I'm sure they love taking advantage of the opportunity.

Spiked Tail remains my top want but damn is Ghost appealing.
