They're really well done. The set for Lootcrate looked good in hand, and the glow effect is surprisingly strong.

Oh, just to be clear, I was talking about the collected editions of Batman/Aliens initially. BvP collected editions 2 and 3 weren't great compared to the original (one of my first purchases!).

TBH I didn't even know there were more Batman vs Predator stories. Those 3 issues above is the only one I've read.

They got pretty lazy, unfortunately. Right down to a one-armed Predator who somehow grows it back...

I just watched the Pixel Dan NECA interview video, NECA wants to make Overwatch figures which is a really good sign, hopefully they will get the license. They are also going to have more Heroes of the Storm stuff at Blizzcon in November, hopefully this might include unannounced figures, otherwise with 4 figures and a deluxe figure a year it is going to take a decade to finish the HoS current roster.

I would be all over Overwatch figures, the only downside would come from it also having a large character roster so many wouldn't get made for at least awhile (like Zenyatta whom I main). Tracer would be an obvious first if this line ever starts.

As far as HotS is concerned I'm still just holding out for Kerrigan and literally any of the Protoss characters. Kerrigan feels like she should have been made by now but hopefully they'll announce her soon.

The more I look at it, the more I need that Raphael quarter scale...

Randy has said that the third Predator in series 17 won't be from the films, so comic? Video game? I'd guess comic. Comic book Preds will have movie-look paint, not comic. 'Of course' to Golden Angel and Dachande.

If they do an AvP accessory pack the Alien body parts are being kept in mind (wanted these for a long time).

The Kenner Xenos will come with 'huggers like the old ones.

'We'll see' to Aliens leather jacket Ripley and Newt two pack - now that would be good! Weaver herself limits the expressions on her figures!

It was missing the whole way through the book, then they just pretended that hadn't happened lol. Truthfully there hasn't been a good Bats/Pred book since the first (Awful multi-crossover with Supes and Aliens included). Something that will hopefully be fixed if the new Pred movie has legs.

I have part 2 I think of a Predator/Alien/Superman/Batman crossover book. It's not great. Lois has a mini jetpack or something. Yeah...

Oh man just imagine a crossover movie where Batfleck takes on a Predator though! Or if the guys that made Dead End got to make a full movie! I think I would squeal like a teenage girl.

That crossover book wasn't taken seriously by anyone involved from what I can tell. Weird attempts at humour, terrible artwork that suits NONE of the cast... but especially not the Preds.

Yeah, anything would beat BvS truthfully, but BvP would be awesome!

I liked Dawn of Justice okay. Sure they could have done way better but expectations were impossibly high for that movie. Justice League looks like they've learned from it too so that's a plus.

What does this mean? I just started playing Lords of Shadow 2 and I know it's a longshot but if NECA made figures from the Lords of Shadow series I'd be all over them. Hell any figures from Castlevainia would be amazing and greatly appreciated.

And more Robocop is always a good thing.

I hope it's not just more mego style dolls, like if they do a Book of Souls Eddie it should be as a plastic 7" figure because that would look weird as a clothed 8" mego.

Randy made it sound like the current Konami team believe retro merch will encroach on the current series' standing. While anyone else with a brain knows it will draw people in. I have to wonder what decisions are being made by some brand gimp in a suit and the game's team, who would probably have more of a clue.

That makes no sense. Castlevania seems like it's damn near dead at this point. And Konami's current attitude these days is definitely not helping anything. As far as I know LoS2 was the last game in the series they made and it came out back in 2014. Let NECA make figures from the various games over the years and it'll help draw up some interest again.

Yep, with 22 heroes in the roster right now I think assuming four heroes a hear like the HotS line that's 5.5 years just to get the current heroes nevermind new ones Blizzard add.

I was really surprised Kerrigan wasn't in this wave when it was teased at Toy Fair. Now that Raynor is on the way Ihope she gets announced in the next wave, or at BlizzCon if we do end up with more announcements then.

I would assume the first Overwatch figures would be the debut characters from the very first trailer: Tracer, Widowmaker, Reaper, and a deluxe Winston. I'd totally get a Tracer because she's the poster character/mascot, a Reaper because he's the cool skull guy and he's very fun/easy to play, and Widowmaker because I've sunk 10 hours into playing as her for a reason. As much as I like Winston's character he's the worst tank in my experience so I'd be hard pressed to get his figure. Okay enough dreaming.

Kerrigan really needs to be in the next set of HotS figures or I'll have to grimace and complain some more.

the way i’ve always looked at MANTIS was that it came from a host from a distant planet that had “mantis like features” it didn’t come from a actual mantis, just like the CRAB or any other KENNER creation

take for example the PRED HOUNDs from PREDATORS or those six legged wild dogs things and that big black panther thing from AVATAR

all those things had features of a dog/wolf/panther but weren’t actually a dog/wolf or panther

but the cross DNA thing works

either way that MANTIS sculpt is f- -kin sick and GORILLA with removable dome is insane

The solid-ish blue Big Chap is a Kenner homage since one of the old Kenner Aliens was just the alien from their AVP two pack but in solid light blue (Warrior Alien). The pink and orange Aliens warrior alien does look a lot like the aliens from the Aliens arcade game (or maybe a home release version). I'm not 100% sure where the yellow alien is sourced from on the spot but it does tease us that we're getting an AVPR warrior alien since it's on the AVP alien body but it has the ridged head like from AVPR.

What is this Predator??
 

I've just ordered a Predator from eBay, that looks like some kind of factory Prototype or something, but I'm not completely sure what Predator it's meant to be.

The helmet looks to be that of Scar Predator, and the overall body could be of Scar, Chopper or Celtic, but it has the wrist blades found on Chopper and the Temple Guard figures.

Can anyone tell me whether this IS Scar, or another Predator?? Thanks.
