I see great collectibles object again. Really great collection and very colorful. I was very happy to see the Batgirl statue. The X23 statue looks amazing this is the first time I've seen this version. I would definitely like to add it to my collection. all great. Congratulations. :)

Thank you so much! I was really happy to find that X-23 in storage last night...I had forgotten how awesome she looks :)

I can see why those Scarletts have been calling to you, they look great!
I also have that same hawgkgirl, she’s such a neat statue to own.

Cyclopswc 09-22-2022 05:56 AM

I would have been all over the ReAction GIJoe figures if not for:

1) the timing. They came out after Classified was in full swing, just can't start another line

2) the price. Man, they're expensive for what you get.

I do like their card arts.

Yeah, the Hawkgirl looks really great in person, a little bigger than I was expecting and I think the scale is great. I had been debating picking it up and my wife pushed me to just go for it...I'm so glad she did!

Yeah, I can definitely understand those points. I've come to the conclusion for the Joes that I'm not going to fully collect any one line so I'm just picking and choosing from each. Like the Classified Scarlett didn't call out to me so much, so I went ReAction in this case. But that Classified Zarana for instance looks like the best version I've ever seen. And the Super 7 Ultimates version of Lady Jaye is my favorite looking version of THAT character, so I'm looking at a whole mish-mosh when it comes to the modern figures lol.

Fabulous toys. I was very happy to see figures from the Kenner Batman series. I remember when it was first released. I had a Mr.Freeze figure from the Duo Force series and it disappeared many years ago. However, if I find a new mr.freeze figure, I have hidden their weapons, it will come in handy. :)

The Catwoman figurine looks so cute and awesome. The Justice League figures reminded me of fisher price old toys.

This is my first time seeing mini heman figures. It is an object that I would love to add to my collection. All great toys. Congratulations. :)

Arachnid13 09-23-2022 01:55 PM

Those supergirls looks gorgeous, the statue is especially cool.
The Bowen mysterio is also a really great looking and the catwoman is adorable!

Thank you kindly! :) I just looked up that Mr. Freeze, it looks fantastic. SubZero is my favorite Batman film of all time, I love the BTAS version of the character. And yes, the Fisher-Price look (I had several of the old style "Little People" when I was very young) is exactly what I love about those JLA figures. The He-Man figures are from the "World's Smallest" brand, they were a gift from my family, they know me well!

Thanks! Yeah, the "New 52" Supergirl was kind of a crazy costume design, but love how it translated to this statue. That Mysterio is my absolute favorite of the Bowen Spider-Man villain statues.

You needed 2 Nightwing in different colors? Ha ha.

That Hall of Justice set is pretty cool!

I can't exactly remember why I bought 2 Nightwings! But if I had to hazard a guess, I'm thinking I saw and picked up the red one first which is the regular version, and then later saw the blue variant which I think was harder to come buy and just really wanted that color since I associate Nightwing more with that.

Though it wouldn't be the first time I bought the same exact figure with a color variation...:o

You have a pretty awesome collection :)! When I was looking through it, I saw the X-23 from what I think is by Bowen. I thought they only did a masked X-23 and have never actually seen the unmasked one in the 2nd hand market. The unmasked looks so good!

Yeah, totally agree on that version of X-23 (and you are correct, that's a Bowen), I think it turned out really awesome, I was so happy to find this one in storage :)

The newly added toys to the collection look very nice. Congrats. :) Do you usually keep the figure in box ? Or are you displaying?

Thanks, and new stuff will usually come out (there's probably a lot of the old stuff I've displayed that will get opened as well). The Pyramid of Darkness set just had some nice packaging, but I need to break it open to actually recreate the scene (plus you can't see it in the picture, but there's a Timber figure in there with Snake Eyes so I really want everything out in the open).

These actually just showed up yesterday, and they're already out, couldn't wait to get Trini's head on the Ranger body!

Nice yellow ranger, her headsculp is astounding.

That GI Joe Pyramid of Darkness set looks great and I like that GI Joe Rise of Serpentor graphic novel too.

The moment I saw the yellow power rangers, I went back to the old times. The Power Rangers series impressed me a lot when it first came out. The first ranger I bought was the blue ranger billy figure. Their heads were spinning.

There are different versions in my collection now, but unfortunately the first ranger I bought was lost years ago.

Really yellow ranger looks very nice. I don't follow the new series much, but it's nice to have a lot of head changes and joints.

Congrats. :)

I'm so glad you have those good memories of the Power Rangers as well! :) Billy was a great character too, I really liked that whole original cast in particular. On that note, I may have an opportunity to meet the green ranger ("Tommy") in December at a convention!

I've had fun today putting some new pictures together, let's start with some recent purchases that just showed up. I call these my "Fearsome Four": Compound Hulk, Icy Joe, Turtle Jack, and Mancake. They blend awesome powers with a buddy film like camraderie.

https://i.imgur.com/GbTTN0K.jpg

Next, I found all of these that had been in storage in a box together:

Some closer views:

The Tick has sadly lost his antennae, but actually, there was an episode where the Terror teleported them off his head, so I'll call this an homage (never mind that Arthur has lost his ears as well).

https://i.imgur.com/jYVlmjo.jpg

It was really special finding these 2, I got these new when I was little. In fact, this Snake Eyes was the very start of G.I. Joe for me, along with Scarlett and Stalker figures I got for Christmas one year. Similarly, this Flash is one of the few surviving Super Powers I got as a kid.

https://i.imgur.com/JbIMiuj.jpg

And there was another find in storage today, a much larger one (about 32 inches long in fact):

So much fun finding this, had to break out some figures to go with it:

It even has the "hidden storage compartment" in case you are running spice disguised as Toblerones:

Hey, where are Han and Leia? There they are...Han is showing Leia some of his "maneuvers" in the cockpit:

My brother has that Deadpool figure, I really like it. Cool Arkhamerse Batman and Spider-man figures.

veryfigurefan 10-09-2022 01:02 PM

I see great toys again. When I saw the Hulk figure, I suddenly thought of Resident Evil 2 figure William Birkin. The two sides were a different figure.

I think you're pretty lucky with the toys coming out of the warehouse. The tick figure is great. I was going to buy one a long time ago but I couldn't buy one. One of the missing pieces in my collection.

Good to see a Batman figure. Batman figures from the Arkham series are really cool. If I remember correctly, it belongs to The Flash super power series and it has really great quality.

By the way, it's great to have the opportunity to meet the Green Ranger. :)

You have a really clean, visually entertaining and organized collection.

It's always fun to look at your collection. Congratulations. :)

Cyclopswc 10-10-2022 06:06 AM

Is that an original "straight arm" Snake Eyes in perfect condition I see?!?!

Nice Millennium Falcon, is that also the original? The Toblerones just increased its value 10 fold!
