Yea, we still get moaty…..in fact everyone gets moaty. The fact is the prize was always Eternia. Yes the extras were nice, but I’ve wanted Eternia since I was a four year old.

On the thunder tank, I already paid for that direct from Super7. That thing is just glorious.

Yeah the Thundertank is special, the thing is huge and the sculpt looks great, I wrestled with the thought of getting it or not for a while, ultimately FOMO has me ready to lay down the money, plus the nice juicy bonus I’m getting from work next month makes going for it less painful. Just need to get some more Thundercats in the meantime, I only started collecting the line recently

I hope this is a lesson to both Hasbro and Mattel to stop doing these stupid early bird gimmicks. Sure it usually helps hit the base goal much quicker, but the momentum gained from that is killed immediately afterward when everyone else that is just a little late to support it realizes they are missing out. Since Mattel already changed the rules once, they should have graciously said everyone gets the King Greyskull figure no matter what the end goal was. If they had done that much sooner, it might have reached 10k. But now we'll never know. :(

I'm still hoping Mattel will offer Ecklar separately as an online exclusive at some point next year. They are foolishly just throwing away money by not offering him in some form of release. The same applies for all those tier figures in the Ghost Rider set. Lots of people would buy those figures in a box set or individually on Pulse if offered as some kind of exclusive.

It is unfair. Life is unfair..but this is an American liscence based on an American property and an American toy company.

I've never understood international intitlement. I don't feel screwed over becuase alot of things I see In Japan that would cost $5-$20 USD in person is going to cost me $45 - $60 in the US. Are those Japanese vendors and retailers screwing me over?

They have to do this "Won't be offered elsewhere" press release crap during the campaign, then "by fan demand!" make Keclar* a Mattel Creation exclusive that sells out in under 5 minutes a year from now.
Or a Secrets of Eternia with Keclar, a solid silver Horde Trooper, and those bridges to Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain.

I'd be all for that 2nd suggestion. Stick him in a box set with some repainted figure if they must, to help their production costs. Either way, I hope he's offered at some point in a fair way for everyone who wants him to get him (ie. a made to order preorder)

Well, it's not like Robinson Crusoe and is not as primitive as can be. It does have a motorized track.

I hear you, truly I do, but to buy that Eternia set in the U.K. would be the equivalent to $935, it’s a bit much, and I understand to a degree, shipping, import fees etc etc, but international customers make up a huge chunk of these companies profits, it would be nice if they could throw us a bone once in a while. This is coming from a guy attempting to collect NECA’s TMNT toon line, a line which they love to make exclusives for a store that doesn’t exist in the county I live, and a store that doesn’t do international shipping, and yes, I’m not entitled to have easy access to it, but it would be nice to.
