My nearby TRU had a tag for them on Friday with none in-stock. I went today in the morning and they took of the damn tag and put 12" icons. WTF? They have too much stuff that is just warming the pegs like Icons, Wolvie with bike, Wolvie claws and a whole lot of Iron Man movie stuff. :mad:

The only good thing about this is my wallet is taking a break.:)

I found and bought the three-pack with yellow Daredevil, stealth armor Iron Man, and Silver Surfer today. $30.

how do u check the quantity on a sku? don't u need one of the price guns?

I've decided that I will not buy the Amazing Spiderman set. I am still pondering on purchasing the Yellow DD set but 30 is still high.

I really wish there was something that would change my mind. I mean, these didn;t even come with any accessories, I don't want another Spiderman, and the packaging is nothing to write home about.

I may just save my money for the GIGANTIC BATTLES! How about you!?

Just ask the folks in customer service. It will tell them how many they have on hand (if any), price, etc...

I'm still on the fence on the Spiderman set.. a sale would make it a buy for me just because I actually prefer this Iceman version vs the one we got for Wolverine... Firestarter would be a nice addition to the female cast. Spiderman himself is a big negative for me and the lack of any accesories.. meh... give me a sale and I'd buy it though.

Gigantic Battles look good as well, not sure I will pick them up though just because of space (where do I put these guys!). The Galactus they showed at SDCC looked great!

In fact... SDCC convinced me to pickup more of this line just because all of the stuff they were showing from the line looked A++

So here's a buncha pics of them in my collection, and I also went ahead and showed what hulk was holding so the curiousity doesn't drive people mad. The ice platform, is from the first toybiz iceman. Firestars 'microwave blasts' are from an extra ms. marvel who's being customized now. And spidey's webline is quilting thread.

Thanks for the info, man. Where are issues 5 and 6? And great pics! I wonder how Hulk doesn't buckle under that weight.

Not sure on all the issues yet, looks like they will be released out of order.

It's a trick, there are pins and shelf pegs under it. Hulk just balances the one side so it doesn't tip. His open hand just keeps it steady, the weight gets spread out to the others so long as that arm stays up. xD

I got the 70th pack today, but damn.. i didnt realize silver surfer was painted with that much white... even his surf board is white, with like no hint of silver. The yellow DD looks the best. The Iron man looks alright, i think they could have given him a more metallic paint job for his armor though. Anyway, i might go return the pack... $30 seems a bit too high, i just bought it cuz it was the only one left =/ And i didnt see other 2 sets.

i also picked up something called Marvel Heroes Marbs series 1 has anyone heard of that?

I saw two of each set today but decided to hold off. I really want the Firestar cause I hope that is a start for them to do the New Warriors.

My girlfriend got me the daredevil, iron man and silver surfer pack. They told her it would be 22.99 bc that's what was marked, but then charged her the 29.99. They're nice to look at, but the paint apps on most of them are pretty bad, the left bicep on DD was twisted the wrong way with the tricep showing and his left hip joint is very stubborn and won't hold most positions. The iron man looks amazing but is very top heavy. The silver surfer is perfect except for the paint app and his left ankle will not move for anything! All in all I love this figures, but the DD just feels cheaply made while the others feel amazing except for their few flaws. I wish they would've had the files with them =/ At least iron man used the classic body style from wave 3 =D

Finally got my hands on Spidey and friends three pack and I gotta say they're fantastic IMO. They're all very cartoon accurate. The blue on Spidey is perfect and Firestar is great. I've got the WO Iceman which I think is one of the best figures in the Marvel 3.75" scale, but I also really like this Iceman. My only beef is that he's so tall. He's head and shoulders taller than WO Iceman, and because he has black Spidey's body, he towers over the other two figures. Since Firestar has the same sculpt as Ms. Marvel, I am wondering if Hasbro will ever come out with a different female body type. It would be nice to see some variation. Still, the cartoon was a huge favorite of mine, so I'm glad I have these figures.

I wouldn't hold your breathe on that one. That dang Daredevil body has been used like 7 or 8 times already.

Daredevil=Bullseye=Moon Knight=Union Jack=Hydra Trooper=Nick Fury (60% or so)=Shield Agent (Same as Fury, different half of upper torso)=Yellow Daredevil.

Went to TRU and they are charging $29.99 for these things. RIDICULOUS! Even if you were to add on .50 per figure as tax(if you were buying 3 figures individually), you are still paying FIVE DOLLARS more for the set!

Yes Shin it sucks but what can we do. Besides the only one for that price is the DD/IM/SS pack. The other 2 sets are $22.99 which is the same price as buying 3 single carded figs.

Really? That's weird. I mean in my opinion, it's the best pack of the 3, but still, it's just 3 figures just like the other 3 packs. It boggles my mind why it costs $7 more, you can get one of the other packs and a single figure for that much!

The DD/IM/SS do seem to sit a little bit in my area, perhaps suffering from being over-priced. I would bet TRU ordered a bunch of these and they'll eventually reduce the price and they build stock.
