Here's a few pics of the final product, don't want to clutter the thread. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7177/6...0d9e121b97.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7207/6...dc3815d82c.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7179/6...d167ac7ced.jpg |
The last pic is awesome. Sweet custom.

I thought some of the parts looked familiar.

Seems like forever since we had a Clone Wars update, but here is the latest, thanks to Yakface.com! The highly anticipated Delta Squad Commander - Boss!
He's got an awesome sculpt and paint work and I really love the accessories for this one, particularly the backpack that opens, but the lack of articulation is a disappointment, allbeit, a minor one at best. An really neat figure I can't wait to add to my collection! Enjoy! |
that darth maul looks killer! good work!

More Clone Wars updates! Check out Yakface.com's look at an awesome updated figure of Clone Commander Cody! This update has a nice, crisp deco and full articulation!
Enjoy! |
Hmmm...you could trick out that backpack with War Machine weapons- that would kick ass!

Here we have yet another Yakface.com Clone Wars figure update, this time of, yet another, Obi-Wan Kenobi, allbeit, with a new sculpt. The new sculpt pays better homage to the characters animated counterpart and the sculpt is fairly detailed for a Clone Wars figure. Like Boss, however, although the figure is nice, there is a lack of articulation in the legs and ankles.
Enjoy! |
GAH! That head is terrible!
It looks like Namor: Jedi Knight! |

Next in the line of recent Yakface.com's Clone Wars updates is the Phase-II version of Captain Rex. He's got a nice, battle scared look to him and is said to be the nicest looking version of Captain Rex to date. However, the figure does have its short-comings, most noteable a total lack of leg and wrist articulation and a non-removable, slightly oversized helmet.
Since we've gotten tonnes of Rex figures since the lines launch in summer 2008, you could afford to pass this figure up, but, in this fan's opinion, I just love everything about this piece, from the paint work to the updated armor. I'll be picking him up, but to each his own, so the saying goes. Enjoy! |
I'll probably stick with Rex that has the good hip articulation. This one does look cool though.

Our next Yakface.com Clone Wars figure update comes in the form of Jedi Knight Aayla Secura, a reissue from 2009-2010 that fan's have been demanding for quite some time. She, unlike most of the figures shown lately, comes loaded with the articulation collectors expect in this day and age, as well as a descent assortment of accessories, all of which are removeable!
No cons here, get her as soon as you can! The wait for a reissue is over, but it probably won't be long before she's gone from store shelves once again! |

Check out Yakface.com's next up-coming Clone Wars figure update: Ahsoka w/ SCUBA gear! Based on the characters more grown-up apperance in Season 4, the figure features an excellent sculpt and paint work, finally, with the absence of color bleeding! A nice figure overall, that is still plagued by a serious lack of articulation in the legs.
Enjoy! |

Check out Sandtroopers.com's snapshots of a new Target/Zellers exclusive Battle Pack coming soon to a store-near-you! The Darth Maul Returns 3-piece set includes a new Darth Maul figure, a new Night Sister (apparently, not Mother Talzm) and a re-package of the popular amored Savage Opress figure from earlier this year!
This set should be hitting shelves soon, so keep your eyes open! |

Check out Yakface.com's look at the next figure in the 2012 Clone Wars line - CW #16 - Super Battle Droid (Training Droid). Based off the apperance of the droid's in the Cadets episode from Season 3, the figure has a nice looking deco and all the nessesary articulation - save for the legs.
Aside from that, the second set of missile launchers, present on previous releases of the figure, were mysteriously left out by Hasbro. Enjoy! |
stop teasing us with product that will never be stocked Prowl!!! ;)
