To be honest guys, that pic is not Darkhawk...it's Talon, one of the Faternity of Hawks. The mouth piece is open in the middle on that one and although it's very similiar the paint scheme is for Talon, not Darkhawk....so if we see this one is could be under another name or it could be the variant....either way, it's different and I WANT IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check out the War of Kings: Darkhawk and Acession story lines for more on Talon

Actually Talon and DH are the same, but talon has light blue gems and eyes, and turquoise skin.

Sorry, half right. Talons mask is different. Slightly, but different.

It's a combination of both. It has Talon's silver markings and a painted stripe on the mouthpiece(not a new head), but it also has a red visor, and red jewel. Talon's are light blue. It lacks the more rounded off appearance on the shoulders that talon has(Darkhawk has squared off ones like the figure), and Talon also doesn't have the gauntlets like Razor/DarkHawk use. It's also missing Talon's silver stripes on the arms. Either way though, it's still a "DarkHawk Armor" which are also now known as Fraternity of the Raptors Armors. But DH armor is shorter to say and what Powell and Nova refered to them as.

We won't be seeing it until a much later revision case. They have to saturate the current one first. So probably a revision case next year. It's not a running change, so it won't be an immediate replacement like others were.

Hi everyone,

The Internet's Darkhawk here to chime in:

If you're looking for variants, do as I (plan to) do:

I received two identical DH figures for my birthday this year, and I'm borrowing Warhammer paint to reskin one of them as Portal. Take a chisel to his chest to rip out the amulet, hand him a plastic gun or two, and go with the Green-n-Gold. I'll let you know if I ever get it done.

Cool idea!

A great idea! I''m about 90% done with m Talon custom and a nice Portal would be a great project!
He's the Boba Fett of Marvel- all mismatched armor and grim determination.

For a base, I'd go with an ARC trooper, then add the helmet and shoulder from a DH fig, add GI Joe belt and shouder strap, grenades from an AIM soldier's bandolier and cut styrene for the rest.

Could be a great custom- looking forward to what you come up with!

Talon is taller and more heavily built, had a bright metallic blue armor with silve raccents, different helmet and different wings (looking more like Falcon's than the classic Darkhawk).
And his amulet is bright glowy blue instead of DH's violet color.

I think a perfect gun to compare to that photo would be the MU skrull soldier or possibly cables rifle

Its going to be ok if you dont own everything I promise.....

I was crazy long before I ever bought my first MU figure (Thanos). And speaking for myself and I know a few other arkers, I must/will have every running change/ variant that is in retail. And that is what seperates the Fish from the Sharks.
