In keeping with this theme, but staying away from the higher end items such as Hot Toys, Statues, SDCC exclusives, and custom figures from geniuses like Jin Saotome, here are a couple of other, more basic toys and figures that I dropped a bit of change on...

-Iceman/Beast 2 pack (Super Hero Squad): $65 (It was the last two pack that I needed in the series, and completed a nearly 10 year labor of love. I had to have it.)

-Cobra Night Raven (G.I.Joe): $100 (This is for the original version mind you, complete and in very good condition.)

-Jason Voorhees (Neca Cult Classics) $55 (Featuring Jason from Friday the 13th part 7, sealed complete with base and weapons.)

-Stryker Eureka (Pacific Rim) $50 (I'm almost embarrassed to say that I picked this one up, but I missed the preorder and I did, alas on the secondary market. Considering how flimsy he was out of the package (even worse so than the rest of the line) I still feel a bit of buyer's remorse when I hold him in my hands...)

Republic Elite Forces: Mandalorian Squads (Star Wars) $70 for both sets. (At the time, this felt like a crushing blow, but seeing how just ONE of the sets can run you almost 200 bucks on the secondary market, I feel totally blessed to have them.)

I got a complete Fortress Maximus a few years before the Encore one came out. It cost me $1,200. Most I have ever spent on a figure.

I believe everyone's got me beat.

$75 Fantastic Four Movie Doombot
$80 Star Trek the Next Generation Redemption Data (red shirt)
$100 Titan AE Gaoul (Prototype)
$120 Star Wars Vintage Blue Snaggletooth

Yeah, that sucks. At least the line got better, and eventually SE was re-released with some fixed problems and made base price again.

i regularly spend 120-150 dollars on discontinued figmas/revoltechs/figuarts, however the most i have spent is 800 dollars for 3 myth cloths, and if i dont get a saga announcement i may spend up to 500 dollars for said myth cloth.

I paid $90 for my vintage Blue Snaggletooth

$250 for a GIJoe Flagg Aircraft Carrier

$460 for the He-Man Eternia Playset.

Too much!

Hmm, never actually said mine when this thread was first around.

Current record for me is $325 for Encore Fort Max. Second place goes to Takara-Tomy MP Soundwave for $189. I might end up spending that just to get Ratbat, unless Hasbro figures out a way to release him stateside with Soundblaster and maybe MP versions of Slugfest, Overkill, Beastbox and Squawktalk.

This is kind of an interesting thread. Shame it's dead...so I thought I'd give it a shot of life.

Nice touch resurrecting a thread using Jason as your example. ;)

A bit ;) .......

Also when I was 17 and had a job I spent two week's salary on a Starting Line-up Micheal Jordan rookie. Think it was $100 in 1993.... Not as much in monetary terms as a lot of these but as far as pure percentage of earnings.... it is up there.

My biggest is an ongoing one.... a HYDRA army. Average $25 a pop times thirty and counting. Not to mention customs, vehicles, 40 supporting HYDRA army figures and mechs plus paying to ship them to the UK..... maybe I should have just bought a jetski instead!!! ;)
