Ironically, the newest wave was at the Target furthest from town which still looks like it did when it was built in 1992.

Just found the whole wave in Northern CA. Surprisingly I passed on SW Mags/AIM Magneto, Extremis/Multiple Iron Man, SW Absorbing Man. Got two Icemans and that awesome Wolvie.

I'm having no luck at all with this wave or the Steve Rogers wave. I stumbled upon an Astonishing Wolverine today at Target which was a nice treat. MU in this area is sometimes as rare as my dignity...

I'm having no luck finding the latest wave.
I wouldn't mind trading for them. I only want 3 of them(Astonishing Wolverine & both Absorbing Man versions).
My Target has lots of Namors, Commander Rogers, Ultrons.
I will be getting an extra X-23 for trade.
Of course whenever I do trade they usually show up the next day! :D

Wow, all I've been able to find so far are three Iron Men, one Wolverine and one Absorbing Man. I have no clue how these sets are coming out. I was there first thing in the morning, and had the people check the figures in the back, and that's seriously all there were. How could one Target only get three of the characters from the wave?

Plus, our Walmarts have all been out of MU for more than a week now. ALL OF THEM.

I'm going to take a look at Target on my lunch break tomorrow. Has anyone seen this wave in NY yet?

Still no sign of wave 16 here at all... so weird.

But the Rogers wave is stocked full so that's probably a good reason as to why. Target gets in that wave.. it sells out instantly. They get another, sells out, get one more, it lingers.. they get another.. it sits.. They should really learn to hold off for new waves. Now they won't sell this one and will miss out on all that profit from the new one. Sigh..

No 16 in my area yet either, but plenty of wave 15.

We had a sighting in Northern MA. I hope to find Ice Man, Wolverine and Silver Absorbing Man this weekend. If stores restock. I have been seeing more and more MU on the pegs lately. it's a good sign but I'm scared that we will not see more product untill all of it is gone. X-23's abd Falcons seem to be warming the pegs in my area.

However, Target here has MU back to 6.99 this week, so finding them would be a win!

I stopped at two yesterday hoping to save a buck on some new figs,.. not a damn thing.

Plenty of that Ironman 2 wave with the blue racing suit and black stealth suit though.

There was one there yesterday, but it's the third different one in about a week that I've seen there, so even if it's gone, I should be able to find another.

Not a single new IM2 figure is here.. everyone else is seeing all those now, but ours are still ALL numbers 1-9..

BUT, ebay has one ending tonight at 8.99 free ship, so I'm assuming that's less than what either of you would spend both buying and shipping, so if I can get that, great! If not, I'll hit one of you up. Appreciate the love! :)

Same here. You can find one or two new figures once in awhile, but the pegs are loaded down with figures 1-9. :(

I picked up Astonishing Wolverine, Variant Absorbing Man, Iceman, and Magneto today. Target had them on sale too. That's what happens when you go to Target for any other reason than toys, you find them all. haha

They didn't. Hasbro uses the same case assortments for all retailers (aside from exclusives, naturally), so that Target got the same case as everyone else. Chances are, one or more of the employees set aside a few in the back to purchase later.

That's what I thought, but it seemed strange that a Wolverine, an Absorbing Man, and two Tony Starks would make it through that barrage. I guess it makes sense if you look at the case as posted on bbts:

Sounds like I need to start working at Target part time! If I do, do you think they'll let me pick to restock toys? ;)

Tip:

There's another option.. I always take a figure over to their scanners on endcaps of aisles and scan it. It says on there "In Stockroom: Yes/No". If it says yes, I politely tell someone that I am willing to buy 1 of each toy in this set and that it looks like they have stocked most of the case, but not all of it. All 3 times this has happened, someone went to the back and brought out either the case to restock all the figures I had taken and let me get the extra ones OR they ask which ones and they bring those out. Only one time were they legitimately out of the ones I wanted, but the other 2 times it nabbed me the rest of the wave.

They will only stock what fits, but if it looks like some are missing then a collector probably nabbed the ones they wanted or.. worse case.. the employees did set them aside. I worked at target and set aside a freakin Wii for myself the day they came out, so I know how that can be. :P

Yeah those came in for me yesterday, but I'd already ebayed them for even less.. so I canceled them. Ebay can snag you all 5 for around 9.50 a figure.. which isn't bad at all and over a dollar cheaper than bbts.

I've usually used the courtesy phone or taken a figure to the electronics desk to see if they had any in the back. So far, out of 5 Targets only one had one figure in the back, an Ultron. :(

That's pretty good, considering you'll pay 8.99 a lot of times at retail, and add sales tax to that. Still not a great deal though. I have to wonder what the actual cost is though. Plus, there's a lot less surprise and hunting involved. Did you find that getting waves this way was more or less satisfying than searching for them in stores?

Running around like a maniac to Target, TRU or WALmart just wasnt in me anymore. I eat the cost or ordering full sets online and just casually browse misc stores for random stuff if the mood strikes me.

That was random too. First day of the $6.99 sale. popped in after the pats and they had just Magneto and Iceman. When checking Target look around, there are end cap displays at most of the Northern MA Targets, and Thor/Captain displays by the DVDs.
