I used to be really into wrestling up until the mid 90's. I started to lose interest when it seemed like everyone's gimmick became "Antihero" after the success of Stone Cold's push.

There was a similar phenomenon in comics after Wolverine got huge, and that also drove me away from X-Men books for the longest time. I don't know, maybe it was that 90's "EXTREME" trend that soured me on it (and just about everything else it touched back then).

I still try to keep tabs on all the current wrestling promos, but I can't remember the last time I actually watched a TV broadcast or PPV. I've seen one house show (In Your House), one taped broadcast (RAW, before the WAR) and one PPV live event (the very first King of the Ring tournament). The last wrestling event I went to was the last Pillman Show. Did a meet-n-greet with Matt and Lita (Jeff missed his plane and didn't make it in time, but was there for his match later on). Got my pic taken with them too and we got photobombed by Raven.

My favorite wrestler is Undertaker and I have a signed "Deadman" t-shirt from him that I won in a charity auction. It was an actual shirt worn by him at one of the WWE events (but cleaned before getting signed). I'll see if I can get a pic of it. I've been meaning to get it framed, but I keep putting it off.

That's awesome Treble! Looking forward to seeing pics, yea man, frame that bad boy!

Raven almost gave my younger brother an asthma attack years ago when we met him lol

Thanks man. But I just realized the radio guy told me the wrong date. He said it was this Tuesday. Turns out it's actually the 25th

CLASSIFIED 10-18-2011 01:31 PM

I may be a few pages too late, but I heard the NWO rumors too, with Awesome Truth teaming with Kevin Nash to form the Newer World Order.

The website I usualy get dirt from is Prowrestling.net, and Wrestlingfigs.com.

Heh I also wonder why its listed as a comedy event.

Classified I couldnt remember wrestlnigfigs website to save my life lol.

Anyway. I think with not too much having happened last monday and nothing MAJOR storyline wise ever happens at smackdown then we can hopefully get some major event at Vengeance to build in to survivor series.

Survivor Series should be awesome, hoping for some classic team matches.

Lol, I can't help it, I saw him "perform" at the beginning of the month and the match was a total trainwreck. He took a little nap at the end after the pinfall.

LMFAO wow. just... wow

Did Warrior really write that comic? Jeez.

I actually used to be a huuuuuuuuuuuuge fan of Ultimate Warrior. I honestly still am, even though I can totally see him differently now. Back then, I was blind to all of that nonsense and totally bought into his gimmick. I remember going to the Royal Rumble down here in Miami where he lost the belt to Slaughter. I was so depressed the whole way home. I couldn't believe he lost. lol Damn. Good times.
