I dig the Victor Von Doom exclusive, but if Prof. X were the exclusive it would have killed in sales of Digital Subscriptions. Think about it, Prof. X is more of a collector's ideal figure, and although a few kids out there might purchase him at retail it would still be mostly sought after by adults. Now apply that to the Digital Subscription and you'd be having people enrolling like crazy.

I intend to do just that. I want Movie Avengers, and comic Illuminati. some good, easy goals for my collecting.

Steve Rogers took Black Bolt's place (and his Infinity Gem to guard).

Black Bolt is obviously SO cooler that Steve, but he was busy being dead at the time so when the Hood managed to get a few of the Gems (starting with BB's) it was time for the remaining members to circle the wagons...which led to Steve screaming at Tony and kicking him off the Avengers for Tony not telling Steve about their secret team.
Tony ends up making the Infinity Gauntlet, kicking ass ('cause that's what he does, baby!) and then, in an act of unspeakably amazing heroism, giving up ultimate godhood and destroying the Gauntlet in front of all the Avengers by wishing it out of existance.

But the Gems cant be wished out of existance- Reed already tried back in the Illumaniti miniseries- and the issue ends with Steve taking Black Bolts place on the (once again) secret group.
