I that custom paint job on that optimus figure? I have the same one at home and he's just a boring matte blue and red. :)

Yup I thought the same thing too until I saw someone do a re-paint of him. I used some tamiya acrylic metallic paint. He looks a lot better. I did the same thing with soundwave and megatron.

Aside from his hips, I totally agree. That's the only thing keeping him below Jazz, Bumblebee and Roadbuster.

For me today, GI Joe Resolute Cobra Commander. I thought this figure was so awesome when it first came out and I still think it is.
