Oh man!!! LOL You know what's sad, is how many times I have probably flipped through the figs on the pegs not even looking for different shield colors...I never pay attention to that stuff, usually just the fig or the number on the side...lol

I just can't see how errors would be considered mainstream collectables. I wish Hasbro would put out a checklist...i'd love to see what things we haven't even known yet were out there. As well as the reasoning to reverse card art, different colored logos....spill the beans Hasbro!

I hope they eventually make a reverse card art version of MU Jim Lee Cyclops... that is probably the only one of these types of variants that I would buy. But only because the original card art is already a mirror image flip and having Cyclops with his buckle harness emblem on the wrong side bugs the hell out of me. LOL.

card art is way to much omg confusing

ok i have been watching this thread for a min and seeing all the pack errors, card art and shield colors so i gots to thinking. if hasbro has done this with MU what would stop them from doing it to ML? i looked at some old collection pix i posted and noticed something. i dont know if its valid but IS something to check on for MOC ML completest

piledriver doesnt have the "return of marvel legends" art in the top right, its on the bottom right. if anyone else has one then check it and see if its top or bottom

I was checking my pics and I have or had both Piledrivers. I'm not worried about the sticker parts. As a completist I'll be fine :)

These packaging changes aren't done by Hasbro to upset completionists or to screw with the fandom. I doubt anyone really thought about completionists when they switched from the black S.H.E.I.L.D. logo to the gold one, other than the fact that they decided to tweak the packaging design (maybe even due to a suggestion made by Marvel).

Since it was changed around wave 2 or 3 of Series 3, any subsequent release of figures from the first couple waves have the potential to get a gold shield release along with their original black shield release. But because that changeover occurred so long ago, I doubt there will be any more transitional variants (like with the Cap'n and Doc).
