I dont refer to the ross/tjmaxx type stuff.

That's a sweet price.

He is usually way overpriced for some reason but pretty easy to come by.

The only one worth usually the money is a complete Tallyhawk especially is he has all three missles and the wings work.

You looking for any other Silverhawks? I have a few loose ones available.

I believe it came out in Europe on August 25th along with a steelbook that looked similar to what Best Buy advertised for their pre-orders last week. The only difference I saw in theirs was that the spine had small pictures of Hulk, Thor, Cap and Iron Man.

The $7.50 you pay for the steelbook is a deposit towards buying the movie at Best Buy when it releases. All you have to do is go to the store to pick up the film when it comes out, present your case receipt to customer service and you're good to go. And yes, the steelbook is extremely cool.

I was looking at the Sideshow coupon and it doesn't appear to have an expiration date on it. I doubt I'll be using it anytime soon but who knows.

Hope you're able to find it again because in my area they sold out fast. I felt fortunate to get the last one that my local Best Buy had. It will make for a good addition into my library.

My understanding is yes, they will fit into the steelbook. Basically you're just transplanting the discs from one case to the steelbook.

You're welcome. Target is offering an exclusive release with an additional disc that has more video supplements that I'm assuming are about the film. It's a few dollars higher at $32.99.

Thanks, gonna take a look at that right now...
So it seems the Target 4 Disc 3D Blu Ray set is better than the Walmart set. It's 3 bucks more and comes with a 3D and regular Blu Ray plus that 90 min extra disc. The Walmart one comes with Digital Copy, DVD, Music and the 2-disc Blu Ray non-3D. Do both version come with this:

Audio Commentary by Director Joss Whedon, Featurettes: "Assembling the Ultimate Team" and "A Visual Journey", Alternate Opening and Closing: Maria Hill Interrogation, "Marvel One-Shot: Item 47", "Second Screen", Gag Reel, Deleted and Extended Scenes, Soundgarden Music Video: "Live to Rise", Languages and Subtitles: English, French and Spanish.

Or is that only for the Walmart version? I think it's just the extras reel, right? I can't figure out why the Walmart version is 2 discs for just the regular Blu Ray version... hmm...

As far as the Graphic Novel goes, I don't really need it so I won't get that version.

Remember how I was asking you about that stand for MS Hawkeye the other day? I totally forgot that I had him. I was working on my walls last night and found him in a box. He is such an awesome figure.

Yeah I think so. I seem to remember someone talking about it in another thread.

I hear you. I used to love playing the Mattel Football games, especially Football II.

I believe the features you mentioned are included on all Blu-Ray versions of the film. The Target set may not necessarily be better as sometimes those extras have redundant footage in them.

Good price. Much better than what some people on eBay are asking for them.

I'm still wondering why that Walmart set comes with a 2 Blu Ray Discs... It makes no sense to me since the movie itself is only on one. The description at walmart.com isn't very helpful either.

Yeah I posted the pics yesterday of it in hand. (pics of the inside and outside)I pre ordered at Best Buy to get the steelbook since the Briefcase got delayed. It is Blu ray steelbook size , just like most of the Best Buy exclusive steelbooks.

Phantomcrow 09-09-2012 06:47 PM

You just get the empty steelbook for pre ordering, so when you get the regular case you can put it in the steelbook. They did the same thing for Ghost Rider :Spirit of Vengence.

Rocket 09-09-2012 06:48 PM

I just got DC Universe All-Stars series 1 Superman.

doomboy536 09-10-2012 12:51 AM

Star Wars Vintage AT-ST from a flea market for £5. It's got a 1982 stamp on the bottom which not only makes it the oldest toy I own, it makes it older than me :lol

That's actually rather typical now. Studios will put the movie on one disc and the special features on a separate disc. Same thing happens to DVDs when the bonus materials' run-times are longer than the film itself.
