The loose Morbius is fodder for a custom project that I've decided to take a crack at after spotting a custom elsewhere using his body for the formula. I'll be sure to let people know what it is, and how it turns out when I finally get to working on it...

Out of curiosity, are you going to be needing the spread out cape? If not, are you willing to sell it?

Potential SPOILERS supposedly somebody on Iron Man's team is actually working with Cap. In the comics both Vision and Black Panther are actually on Cap's side but for the film they'll apparently be with Iron Man, though the exact setup is different in the first place so it could mean nothing. I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

I feel like it may be pretty obvious who it is, when they look at the line-ups concerned. Not to mention this

Yeah, as soon as that plot detail was revealed I had my theory on who it would be, based on interactions in previous movies, and I'm sticking with that. The poster only solidifies my theory.

hasbroherofan 02-09-2016 09:23 AM

I wonder if the Legends Scarlet Witch goes with her look from the end of Age of Ultron or her slightly tweaked Civil War one.

I would really prefer the one from AOU. The more leathery look. The one from Civil War looks like a rip off of X-Men The Last Stand Jean Grey....

Dr Kain 02-09-2016 09:54 AM

lol That's what I said and then it was really that X3 stole Wanda's look.

Whoever told you Supergirl sucks only watched the first two episodes.

Supergirl has been down right excellent since the fifth episode. It is well written, the characters are lovable and most of all, it knows it is a super hero show. It is colorful, hopeful, and Kara is what DC wishes their cinematic Kal-El could be.

I actually enjoy it more now that a certain alien is in it, and I knew it was him too!

I can't wait to see them in Earth 2!

This is kind of slow actually so far, didn't like how they killed a certain someone so fast, and it's kind of obvious that they'll either bring the person back down the road too...

She's awesome for sure and it's great that they keep it short and actually tie it in with AOS as well.

The only reason Supergirl and Flash are already near perfect is thanks to Arrow starting first. Arrow's first season got better around episode 10, the second season was fantastic, the third season was average, and the fourth season has been as good as the second thus far.

Have to agree it was a slow start, I almost didn't want to watch it, but glad I kept up after season 2. Probably cause they started to borrow elements from Batman :P

Yes it did, especially with Kingpin being more involved. Looking forward to seeing the next episode and to see him in his outfit too.

I did enjoy teh Neo Noir aspect of the show, but it did not need to be 13 episodes long as it felt really padded out. It would have worked much better as an 8-10 episode series.

Yes 10 episodes would have been perfect, JJ started to get whiny after awhile, heck they almost all did except Luke.

Constatine wasn't too bad actually. I decided to watch the entire series and it would have been nice to at least let them finish it off...

Mmmm-hm. Let's see how y'all fare with having your brain overridden while you're aware but unable to do anything about it, and suffering PTSD (among a number of other mental issues, I'm sure), and I'll bet there'll be plenty of 'complainers' there, too. :D

I don't care about them being whiny, I just feel 13 episodes was too much for it or that the 55 minute run is too much for each episode. Hell, if you were to cut out all of the sex scenes the show would probably only be 11 episodes.

It needed nudity not just nypd blue esque side boob and such. And honestly whos bright idea was it to give Jessica " who the bloody hell has heard of her aside fom basement dwelling nerds" jones a tv show anyways. I can think of a bazillion other characters who should be headlining their own show. ;)

I'm not totally sure but I think the Defenders in some type or another recently were Jones/Iron Fist/Luke Cage/Daredevil. So the plan is to make each one their own series and then do a Defenders series.

Maybe....but at this rate all the actors are gonna be senior citizens before that happens. They should just do a defenders series with maybe an episode dedicated to a brief history catch up of the character rather than dragging out seasons of each character. Granted i am jonesing for an iron fist series providd they dont cock it up by race changing danny rand, a rumor goin round, but seems doin the defenders series would make more sense.

Actually the main rumor/news about an Iron Fist show for Netlfix is that there won't be one and he'll just be the main supporting character on Luke Cage's show.

hasbroherofan 02-09-2016 01:17 PM

I could care less about Danny Rand's race. I have no idea why this subject continues to draw so much controversy.

I wouldn't count on those being accurate, tbh. The marketing posters show Sharon Carter and no Scarlet Witch when the trailers and Super Bowl spot make it look like it's the other way around.

Its changed then. Last i heard rumor mill wise was danny was gonna be asian. Of they want an asian ironfist fine but dont call him danny rand.

They should call the show power man AND ironfist....id be more than happy with that. :)

hasbroherofan 02-09-2016 01:35 PM

It's way too late for that. Luke Cage is already filming.

I wouldn't mind it since Jean stole it from Wanda anyway, LOL. Red flowing stuff was her thing.

What about his Whiteness is so critical to Danny's character, exactly?

Yeah but it being Marvel according to them it will never happen, although with DP getting rated R and having nudity an exception should have been made to be seen in JJ!!!

Because there is no reason to change the race of a long established character, what if they made Superman Asian or Wonder Woman Mexican?

Why the frick-frack not?

Is the name 'Danny/Daniel' somehow tied to him being white? Is 'Daniel' an exclusively Caucasian name? No, no it's not.

Jesus, that's some extremely flawed reasoning. That he couldn't be called 'Danny Rand' just because he's not white. Hell, actor Daniel Henney? He's half-Korean, and looks like it. So get out of here with that nonsense kind of logic.

Yeesh.

That's seriously dependent on how strongly a character's cultural identity/ethnicity/etc ties into their motivations, origin, and personality. For instance, using your same examples, Superman wouldn't be all that much affected by being changed to Asian, provided he was still raised with the same kind of morals and ethics. Wonder Woman, on the other hand, is very closely tied to the culture of Themyscira, which itself stems from ancient Greece. Thus, her culture and cultural identity is very important to her character.

They would never do that because those are already iconic characters who people know and love. There's a reason it's usually lower tier characters like Nick Fury or Deadshot that this happens to. Or even Ben Urich on Daredevil.

Outside of a few of the hardcore fans, nobody really cares.

EDIT: Darn it I can't believe this thread is headed that way again.

Mexican isn't a race, Superman was played by a 1/4 Japanese man for 4 years and no one batted an eye, and Wonder Woman's being played an Israeli. None of that makes any difference to their characters.

Because danny rand is long established as a white male. To counter point why not have a NEW character made to be an asian iron fist? New character as ironfist instead of lazily doin the whole race change thing. To your logic we should have an illegitamte white son for black panther, since they did it for nick fury. YEESH! :p

It's not really in T'challa's character as much as Nick's to sleep around like that, but what would be the problem if they did introduce an illegitimate 1/2 white son for Black Panther? News flash, we've already had a 1/2 white, Jewish Black Panther before.
