Also, isn't that Firestar's classic costume, or am I missing something? :confused: |

Anyways....I think the Kitty Pryde could work as one of her earlier appearances, we may even get her with the cowl/cap/mask thing she had for about 10 issues. If they used that body it fits both Dani and Karma just fine. But honestly even if it's a Marvel now look, I think it would still work, wasn't Kitty only 2 years older or so than most of the New Mutants, Karma being maybe same age or a year or two older than Kitty? Point being even with marvel now outfits, it could all still work as all the original New Mutants are adults now (except maybe Rhane?) |

They are Xmen, more appropriately, they were New Mutants. Google... Red Skull head: I've seen it on other bodies, whether it was dremeled or not, I don't know. It was meant to be illustrative, but thanks for the correction...you got me!:rolleyes: Edit: ooop...wait, I just thought about it! Red Skull's head is in fact meant to be slapped on another body (Onslaught's) so the category in which I placed it is, in fact, accurate. LOL :p |

Just saw Deadpool!! Now bring on the Marvel Legends figure!!!

Also, why not just repaint Hellcat and give a new head to her. Boom instant Firestar. I'm working on a custom one now, because I multitask and never stay focused on one custom at a time. |

And yes, that's my choice for a Firestar as well. I'm actually planning on doing that, because that will be easy, even for me. I plan to use a second Mockingbird I get for the head, since the Thundra did not work out. |

Where's my Namor!?

I think the way around it is to give them all the Hellcat body. It's like a 20-year old buck. That said, in order to make them fit with Magik, they could give us the teen mold, it wouldn't actually bother me much. I would rather have iconic versions of characters (90's X-men, 80's New Mutants) than recent version |

Okay, sorry about that. Waaay off topic. What I'd like to know is, where is our Jessica Jones figure?! Hasbro must be saving the Netflix figures for later on in the year, but a comic Jewel figure would be well received. Like others have said, Hasbro should do a Marvel Knights wave. A new Blade, Typhoid Mary, Elektra, Moon Knight, Punisher, Jewel, Bullseye, and then a Kingpin BAF. It would sell like hotcakes! |
@Von
Kitty was 13 when she appeared on the scene in the Xmen (kinda makes that early budding romance between her and Peter very, very creepy! It actually felt wrong to me as a kid, but who am I...). Using this as a measure, she should be 49?!?! hahahha! Puts a much different spin on things, for sure. Get me that '49 year-old woman' buck stat, Hasbro! |

The Marvel KNights wave you suggested sounds awesome. I would buy that in a heartbeat, except maybe take Jewel out and replace her with some other female character. Just because she's my pet peeve sin of forced retroactive continuity. But you know I'm all about getting a BAF Kingpin, so it's hard to say no, no matter who is in the wave. @TBM, actually I think aging is "supposedly" according to "some" about 1 year for every 50 issues of comics. It's the theory I subscribe to - though of course there's always stuff that throws that way off. But if that were the case, Kitty should be....about 22/23. Other New Mutants outside of Rhane/Karma should be 21/22. Rhane shoudl be 19/20. Karma should 23 to 25 - I think. Ugh. I'm doing it again. o_O. Must stop before my brain explodes....especially when you throw in the six month gap in 2000 the X-books but no other books had, and then the recent gaps before SW and from what I understand a gap after SW as well? Ugh. Maybe add another 1 to 1.5 years to each of those. I dunno. I give up! |
@Nash
Oh? I didn't even know there was a rubric. lol Rather than Marvel 'NOW,' I'd love to see a Marvel 'ACTUAL!' Reed would be 80, Peter would be in his late 50's, etc...talk about expanding Marvel's brand? They could advertise in AARP! :p |

@ARS
Hah! Funky math indeed! Maybe Immortus is actually Marvel's true Editor-in-Chief? All these years, who knew? |

Which could explain why the first Hasbro figure is so ugly compared to the second |

Yeah, it was revealed in that run that she had a breast augmentation...it definitely left the feeling that she was a 'false beauty' and who knows where she stopped in regard to cosmetic surgery. |
