I think that should be something Hasbro does...every time a new Emma gets made, she has to look younger and younger (but still adult) each time. Brings the plastic to a whole new level of meaning.

Colleen Wing, anyone? :D As far as Jewel's retroactive status is concerned, I can sort of buy hers, as she was hardly a superhero for very long. Being in Peter Parker's class, however, I... like to ignore that. I also hate Jewel's costume, and would prefer her to get a Netflix figure, but similarly to Nico's conundrum, is Hasbro willing to sculpt the mother of all sculpted detail... clothes?!

It's a crime that we still don't have an acceptable Astonishing Emma Frost ML figure. The first looked like a steamrollered eldery man in a blonde wig, and the second looked like a younger Patsy Stone.

Seriously, you're pretty quick and comprehensive with your comic info. I love everything Dwyane brought to DC supes-toons...RIP. That said, some of the stuff on the comic side (that Milestone stuff was really not my cup of tea with the exception of Hardware and Icon) almost felt exploitative. "Negro" is a term I play around with close friends and family. But as a serious pitch for 'concept?' What was dude thinking? He is due a great deal of respect in the industry and beyond. But what you just shared is a bit of a head scratch-er, for me....still, very interesting history though. Thanks, man!

That was the point of it. It was an over the top satirical pitch to protest the fact that a quarter of the Black representation in the Marvel books at the time were guys on skateboards who dressed and spoke like stereotypes from 15 years ago and needed their White friends to bail them out and keep them in check.

For sure! I kept eyeballing the gear on the Scourge I picked up on my way to work today thinking his gear will work for some stuff as well.

Okay the search is on! I got Whirlwind and Mockingbird already as preorders, but now I'm going to venture out this weekend and try to find Cap and Sharon Carter. A good friend of mine pointed out that Sharon will make excellent custom fodder, being a white outfitted figure. I'm in it to win it now.

I don' care about the others. Taskmaster I'm good on with the Toybiz one, and Scourge and Copperhead ....eh. And Red Onslaught I could care less about completing. I mean, I could care even less than caring less. The concept was awful and while the figure might be great for an Onslaught I already have one.
