Ya prefer that one over the Green one, although I did find the green one and ended up keeping him.

Tiberius 01-12-2012 11:17 AM

I love the classic one. NOTHING beats the classic one =3.

Yea the classic one is the best...But I do like them all though!

D Day 01-12-2012 11:27 AM

wow, bleeding edge is actually my least favorite IM, too clunky looking.

The mark 4 that came in the target HOA stands is just so sleek looking, pretty much looks like the movie one.

I'll have to take some comparison pics when I get home.

LORD MARVEL 01-12-2012 11:42 AM

my favorite IM

The BE or Modular IM actually has one of my least favorite features that Hasbro has put out. it's when the legs at the point where they connect to the torso stick out wider than the body. Union Jack is another figure where this is present. It really looks awful, and that coupled with the clunkyness of that figure makes it my least favorite.

The mark IV just looks sleek and just like the movie. IMO it looks way better than bleeding edge/modular IM.

That feature is what is preventing me from purchasing a union jack, which sucks because I like the character, but I don't want to have to look at that misproportuned figure in anger. I wish they'd make a new one like with the DD/BE mold, but thats just wishful thinking

I have the IM2 Advanced Armor on it's way from BBTS, so in all fairness, I haven't had a chance to compare him to Bleeding Edge yet.

D Day 01-12-2012 12:20 PM

I finally got the pic to work ^

pretty sure this is the one i just ordered.....hmmmmmmm

just checked ....yup it is

SoundWave88 01-12-2012 12:34 PM

The only variants I've found were at TRU

usagent27 01-12-2012 12:36 PM

i'm finding in general i like the IM2 line better than Marvel universe... for Iron Man figures anyway... The classic IM2 figure blows away the MU version.

Optimus Vader 01-12-2012 12:38 PM

I understand where D Day is coming from with the hips thing. I'd say just standing straight up as if the suit was in storage the movie versions look pretty good and sleek, but in an action pose the BE version works very well. I guess it all depends on how you pose them.

I have no idea how these custom guys do what they do half the time, but I know Symbiote made foot claws for his X-23, so he might be a good resource for something like that.
