In package, I was kind of luke warm on Ivy. But, getting her out and putting all the leaves and vines on her is a tremendous help. I really like her.

Yeah, Supes looks very puffy.

Unless I have random luck this weekend, these are my last new figures of the year.

SpasticPlastic 12-31-2023 09:38 AM

This is what I wrote a year ago…

Here's a rundown of what I bought this year, from the bigger companies. I've excluded Jada, DST, Boss Fight, etc. Mostly, because there were just a few things and probably will not account for a large portion of my collection anyway. Also, these are releases. A 2 pack or 4 pack is still just 1 release, so figure totals will be higher than these numbers. Also, I didn't count any multiples of anything. At one point, I had 6 Classified B.A.T.S., but I only counted it once.

Mafex- 6
Super7- 12
Hasbro- 21
Mattel- 36
NECA- 51
McFarlane- 229

So, here is this year's list, where all the same applies. The funny thing is, I have sold off a lot of the NECA, Mattel, and Super7 that I bought this year. I am basically out on Super7 completely, am only doing Origins-style from Mattel, and am no long trying to be a completist on NECA TMNT. Hopefully, this means next year's list will be trimmed down quite a bit.

Mafex- 8
Super7- 8
Mattel- 29
Hasbro- 39
NECA- 65
McFarlane- 239

You actually keep count?!?!

You don't buy Star Wars, Marvel or Transformers, so your "Hasbro" is pretty much GIjoe.

I don't keep count throughout the year, but I do tally them at the end, using my posts on here.

It's only G.I. Joe.

I want to buy the colored figure.

By the way, the new toys added to the collection are great.

When I look at the 2023 list, Mcfarlane and Neca stand out.

I think I will see the same in 2024. :)

Congratulations.

I'm hoping for less from all. I doubt it will happen.

How did you count the HISS? Was that 1, or 4?

Just 1. The figures were accessories?

2024 Purchases Week 1

Light week, but that's ok. I was so excited for the Batman statues that I forgot to take pictures before I opened them. I included a picture for size comparison, too. They are way bigger than I thought they'd be. I really like them.

ScottyHawkeye 01-07-2024 10:35 PM

I love that Red Tornado

Cyclopswc 01-08-2024 06:06 AM

You got the TMNT/HeMan figures! I thought there were 6?

Is that one Batman statue with 2 choice of cape/head color or 2 separate statues?

The first wave is these 3 plus Leonardo, but he wasn't available on Amazon when I ordered. There is also Mouse-Jaw, who is a deluxe figure that coincides with the first wave and is exclusive to Target.

It's 2 different statues.

He's great! But I really wish his tornado effect actually supported him better.

EDIT: responded to your request for help with 1/4 scale stands

veryfigurefan 01-10-2024 05:20 PM

Great new toys. The blue color of the Batman statue attracted my attention more. It looks very lively.

There are some production problems on the black Batman's cape.

Thank you very much for letting me see it up close. I think I'll buy the blue version.

Great pieces. Congratulations.

I agree. I like the blue one better, too.

Not much going on, sadly.

veryfigurefan 01-15-2024 11:22 AM

Nice additions to the collection. Congratulations. I haven't bought many toys lately either. I'm so confused about what to choose. Setting a budget is becoming increasingly difficult. I sold my 3 piece ninja turtles from the 2013 Series. This will help me a little.

But that Mutt and Junkyard's awesomeness made up for it.

Great new additions to the collection. Neca Toony series is really fun. Which company's product was Joker? Is it 1/6 size? The clothes look very high quality. I would appreciate it if you could share a photo of it when you exhibit it.

Congratulations. :)

Thanks. That is the Filix Toys 1/12th scale "Clown" figure.
