AAAAaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://i755.photobucket.com/albums/x...ROUP_PHOTO.jpg

I was setting up my loose MU figures, trying to take a nice group shot. And then... du du dummmmmmmmm... (cue dramatic music) the dreaded domino disaster effect. These were the ones left standing. I need to start using stands.

Tiberius 08-19-2011 11:53 PM

I got really lucky with that Vision. I only saw him twice in the wild and bought him the first time.

Tiberius 08-20-2011 12:01 AM

Never seen anything from that wave except spider man [of course]. Never will see Gigantic battles either.

MOle Man!? w..t...h

bmorr 08-20-2011 06:37 AM

the "domino effect" was a daily occurance at my house. Id be sleeping, and at like 4am Id hear a crash and come to find out the AC coming in from the ceiling combined with my ceiling fan was knocking them over daily. I said fuck it and put them back on their stands lined up in a grid on my display shelf. Havent had a problem since.

Moley is the odd Showdown figure that I cant believe they started out with! Why him when they could have made, well, anyone.
Stil, he looks perfect and he's both in scale and nicely articulated!

ludovicotek, that looks awesome!
Maybe try it with the Sentry face down- put some maple syrup under him (wahes off easy) for a pool of blood.

I'm trying for a scene now- I have a tweaked Ultron with a silver hammer Drone's body (plus added spikes and hand/head swaps) and i want him standing atop a mound of fallen heroes.

Maybe I'll put my evil Void/Sentry up there instead (darkened his features and gave him glowy red eyes).
That would rock.

I love that your captain Mar-Vell is looing over his shoulder at Thanos!

We appreciate fellow arkers such as bmorr who look out for fellow collectors. We did a switch on the dr. strange figures to complete having both versions. Now we can put out this display.

Tiberius 08-20-2011 05:10 PM

Damn, that sucks dude. I'd love that one too. My Wal*Mart only carried comic packs and single carded figs. I am not sure about the rest of Canada, but from what I know, no Giant Packs :(

omega145 08-20-2011 07:07 PM

Iron Man 2 Comic Blue Monger arrived in the mail today and decided to take a couple of pics of MU Apocalypse with the BAF version also.

Thanks again bmorr.

hey no problem man, just glad the figure made it there.

Zictor 08-21-2011 05:31 AM

It'd be great if they did the Build a Figure with the Bigger MU characters such as Sentinel and Galactus. I want them but I can't justify forking out the money for them. The smaller ones are more of a reasonable price and if I could collect all the parts over time I feel it'd be more rewarding!

Jason Abbadon 08-21-2011 05:57 AM

Damn, that BAF Apocalypse has chicken legs!
BKOW! He hates humans for all the poor mutant poultry we consume...Beak is his illegitimate son.

Chicken legs seem to be a running theme with the BAF figs (well, not Modok) as my Sentinel's legs are disproportionately long as well, but thankfully not as scrawny as 'Pocky's legs there!

felks22us 08-21-2011 06:07 AM

lol I still need to get those arms for Apocalypse and i shall be done lol . this the longest BAF I have that is missing parts lol .
but I did score Deadpool and Taskmaster yeah finally .

let's make a deal

Boba Fettuccini 08-21-2011 01:39 PM

I don't careabout Taskmaster, but I really want the Deadpool. :( I havethe XMO version, but his gear is so wonky.

Zictor 08-21-2011 02:33 PM

The eyes on this Deadpool are the ONLY thing I think is wrong with him. The rest of him is great!!!

Boba Fettuccini 08-21-2011 03:14 PM

The eyes are great! That's the expression he always has in the comics.
