I've posted plenty of pics passing on them in Canada but no one was interested. Even when they were on sale $16 or $20 I only ever picked up a few for people. People hate paying taxes and shipping. No one wants to pay $8-$10 to ship them even though the total cost is a lot more on ebay. That's why I left these guys even though I'm in the US right now and shipping is cheaper.

I hear you. I'm just saying, those things are so scarce in most areas.

I still have yet to see one in stores. Getting it or not depends on whether or not you want a silver stripe on the helmet. I'm waiting for that version from the TRU Legacy figs since I have so many other versions of Tommy.

20 bucks for the legacy figs is too much imho. and I cant pull the trigger on it cause of that stupid silver stripe.

Saw this new Halo Mega blocks set . Wal Mart exclusive, bringing back the Revenant vehicle.

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...ps8d73b696.jpg

Also saw the Reeves Superman and Phiffer Catwoman DC 3 3/4in figures at Target. Had a fresh case.

And saw these banks at Wal-Mart. Mad me think of the JLU episode where WW gets turned into a pig.

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2873df5b.jpg

Phantomcrow 09-09-2014 12:07 PM

Saw the new Casta Fierce Monster High doll at Wal Mart today. Was buying Cap:WS at Best Buy so she had to wait.

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5f851b6e.jpg

Saw a new Chia at Walgreens hunting a Boba, could be fun.

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...pse206bb8e.jpg

Also saw new Doctor Who 3 3/4 figures at Walgreens.

That David Tennant Dr. Who was hard for me to pass up at TRU last week. I did though...and now he's gone. Sad face.

Was kind of a week of Hits and Misses

Saw the new TF Roadbuster but no Sky-Byte

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...pse7bc4dc9.jpg

Saw the new Hero Mashers of Rulk and Iceman, but no Ghost Rider or Deadpool. I really like how Iceman came out.

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...ps83e9fe4c.jpg

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...psfa2f6b79.jpg

Saw the new Shadow form Diablo and 1994 NECA Godzilla at TRU

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2ccf0d54.jpg

And first time I have seen the TF Movie Voyagers of Helicopter Drift and Slog

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5b573f2f.jpg

Found a Chewey and Vader SW Black figures for a friend at Walgreens but no Boba yet.

Iceman 09-15-2014 06:35 PM

Crappy picture but this wasn't even half of the mashers they had at this store. The Iceman figure is cool but has less articulation than I thought. Still, the translucent blue is great.

Really stocking up on this set. No way it moves at the $120 price they have it set at. TRU up here is terrible with pricing Star Wars exclusives. These will be sitting next to the past exclusives for years to come. Here are the current CLEARANCE prices for some of them. The Vintage Millennium Falcon ($199), Vintage X-Wing ($59), Republic Gunship ($119), MTT ($99). Those have all been here for at least a year not selling and at "reduced" prices.

http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/...ps31807897.jpg

Except for the Stryfe in front that is all Scott and Logan. There were a few more on the pegs.

trebleshot 09-16-2014 08:57 PM

Man, I'd love to be able to find Roadbuster and Sky-Byte, but no such luck. Hell, I'd like to find anything new TF-wise at this point (even movie toys).

IIRC, the release schedule for that wave and the one with Gears/Tailgate got switched. So hopefully, we will still get a shot at the skipped wave at some point in the near future.

I just wish the stores in my area didn't have to do a massive restock of the Prime and Bumblebee from wave one first. It's taking forever for some of them to clear enough room for the newer waves again.

Phantomcrow 09-17-2014 11:58 PM

Saw Jetfire in the wild for the first time. $46.99 at TRU

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2317977e.jpg

Also saw all this new Disney/Pixar stuff.

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...ps0dd7c232.jpg

Saw 2 of the new Assassins Creed Mega Blocks at Target.

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...psee527e88.jpg

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...ps971cafc1.jpg

And saw the Magic: The Gathering Funko Legacy series 1 Figures at TRU for $24.99. I like how a couple of them look. The Purple chick, the Fire chick and the big armored guy all look nice.

I like these two for Thor villains. The female figure screams Karnilla the Norn Queen to me. Purple, check. Headdress, check. Cleavage, check. The male figure looks like some sort of barbarian/marauder that would give Thor a run for his money.

Trivial Psychic 09-20-2014 02:35 PM

Never really been a fan of Pokemon, (although some of the monster designs are nifty, so I can see the appeal...) but this Ash figure really caught my be surprise, and was nearly picked up simply for being a nice figure. It would go great with a lot of the newer Nintendo stuff coming out (Smash Brothers Diorama anyone?)

If yall see another invisibilly get it for me I'll pay shipping cost and 10 bucks on top for your time

mentos888 09-23-2014 06:05 PM

hey iceman, those are some impressive pictures of your toys r us. never seen so many toys arranged so neatly at toys r us stores around here. on another note, i found superhero mashers deadpool and red hulk at k-mart recently. thought they looked good online, but i passed on them.

These have been sitting at Walmart for about a year now...I keep thinking they will go on clearance at some point, and I would pick up a few of the mini packs then. Although their "clearance" prices have not been up to par at my local store. A dollar off a $10 item, 5 off something $35 doesn't really cut it to me...

As a long-time MTG player, it bothers me that you didn't just read their names on the box to type this post. I'll probably get Chandra "fire chick" if I ever see one in person.

HAha, I was just to lazy that day and just being generally vague :-P. I have never played MTG and had no clue who the characters were. I still kinda want the figures just cause they look decent.

Honestly, I only play the game with my friends. There's not much character to be had. Different cards have little quotes/insight from the different planeswalkers (that's what these characters getting figures are), but that's just basic personality type stuff. I guess if I read the books I'd know more about the characters, but a book based on a trading card game just sounds like a cash-in and not worthwhile reading.

snake5289 09-30-2014 07:51 PM

Saw some of the DC Total Heroes at Wal-Mart today and the GL and Sinestro looked pretty cool. If they were the same size as the Multiverse figures I would've picked them up but I quit the 6" business a good while ago.

Phantomcrow 10-01-2014 11:46 PM

I know this Monster High set has been on the Target website for like 2 months, but this is the first time I have seen it in a store. And I get to a lot of stores.

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9c211a59.jpg

And saw these huge 30 inch? Luke and Han in Stormtrooper disguise figures. Sadly no trooper helmets and Luke is the same height as Han.
