^ That is my hope for the undisclosed 2 pack. Would love a movie vision and ultron.

So I just got the notice that BBTS sent out my Beast wave. While I am excited, it's also right as I have just come back from the doctor plus need a new laptop. Thank Odin for tax rebate and work performance bonus.

Thanks for the heads up. I just went ahead and ordered them too since they are no longer on HTS as coming soon at $10. Funny I just got back from the doctor's office too, medical expenses are killing me this year! Missed work most of yesterday and today. I guess I'll be doing some OT soon.

The walking dead stuff are too small for MU/MI unless you want to use Antman as giant man then I can see that happening, now If you collect the 2.5" movie crap Hasbro is distributing right now , that too can scale with the walking dead stuff.

Kernel 02-24-2015 03:00 PM

I just saw a dark beast custom on ebay where the customizer used the MU Hercules body for dark beast, it looked fantastic. I haven't seen the new figures yet but it's too bad Hasbro didn't think of that. I would have thought it would be cheaper to repaint/kitbash and tweak the old bucks vs making all new molds with less articulation.

That is a fine Beast, and in that colour it makes the Herc torso look exactly like the lesser articulated Infinite Beast torso, so a Herc torso on that figure would more or less fix it.

Hey SERIOUS....the Walking Dead sets are Lego scale mate. I will go $15 plus shipping on your ant from the movie box as that Ant Man can f**k off.... I have classic Hank and just want a little ant pony for him to roam the range on. Janet ain't got no time for that cinematic stuff. Crazy little ant bastard..... Sorry, been watching Trailer Park Boys a lot lately. ;) I like the cinematic one fine he is actually a decent looking figure, just have no need or want for him. Itching to get that ant though.

Surely it would be good to have a Scott Lang just for backgrounds and the like?

Hell yeah! You can have that bigass ant! It will look very silly in my display that's only built in my mind. Seriously though I could not find any info on those construction dios. Good looking out. I like classic Ant-Man but that new figure looks pretty slick (better than the actual trailer) In my display it has no theme. I just have the version of each character that I believe looks the best. My cap i'm working on is a mashup of MU wave 1 ultimate & MU Steve Rogers. Really wished I had that canceled ultimate cap head!

snake5289 02-24-2015 06:17 PM

I'm going to try and have the ant hanging from the ceiling. Either that or just sitting on top of my TV cabinet.

kylactus 02-24-2015 06:49 PM

the walking dead sets are waaaaay to small. the figures are like 2".

I want the new movie Antman not the ant. So once I get the figure that ant will be on here asap. I really hope the last AOA 2pack is Ultron & Vision. Yeah 6" peg warms all day by me. 3.75" no matter what the price does not last on shelves. My area is very scalper heavy.

So I asked in the comparison thread. Does anyone have any of the walking dead building sets? I was wondering how the look in the MU scale. A few of the prison sets would look pretty slick for a hydra base or actual prison.

As awesome (and bought on sight) as that would be watch it be Hulk/Thor or Hulk/Hawkeye or Thor/Hawkeye. The other 2-packs are repaints and repacks and sadly I don't see that changing.

kylactus 02-24-2015 08:39 PM

if they repaint a Hawkeye they better at least give him a long coat. they could do a repack of Hulk (hopefully not the first movie Gumby on steroids version) and the Hulkbuster from IM2.

Zend 02-24-2015 08:57 PM

When do the AoU 2-packs come out, and are they TRU exclusive?

Thanks for the welcome, ukmu!

snake5289 02-24-2015 09:04 PM

I don't know about the when but I'm pretty sure they're TRU exclusive.

stormbearer82 02-24-2015 09:26 PM

So far the only figure I want out of the 2 pack is the Iron Man since he will be in the new armor. As much as I want a movie Ultron and Vision in that scale, I doubt we will get them. Hell, I am still ticked about not getting any GOTG figures so I doubt Hasbro is going to make the effort to make brand new figures just for a 2 pack. They seemed determined to move toward this crappy 2.5 scale.

ukmu 02-25-2015 12:04 AM

I don't see a movie Ultron or The Vision happening. That is why they are releasing comic version in MI waves to coincide. It could happen, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I really only like the classic stuff. The Scott Lang suit is too modern looking for me, besides the Ant Man from MIw3 can be Lang and Yellow Jacket can be Pym if need be.

And cheers Zend.... Zelda and HYDRA are my two favourite things so we are good!!!!

There's still the possibility of a store exclusive multi-pack. Overall though yeah, looks unlikely for now unless they cover them later.

Goldengreg 02-25-2015 04:25 AM

Just got Buzzsaw thanks to Chinabay... I'm actually surprised they used the muscular buck for him... judging from the pics, I thought they went on the Spidey thin-body.

As for the custom-lovers here, I just had something getting in my mind lately... the very cheap (and unpopular) Blowtorch from GI Joe 50Th line actually has the perfect comics-accurate face for a pre-cosmic rays Ben Grimm!

Buzzsaw ??

Autobot_Goldbug 02-25-2015 06:00 AM

umm I guess he meant Whirlwind?

Goldengreg 02-25-2015 06:35 AM

Hahaha yes, Whirlwind... sorry :)

samsson37 02-25-2015 08:47 AM

He's been working out

stormbearer82 02-25-2015 10:48 AM

Good figure. I really was happy with the first 3 waves of the Infinite line. All the re releases made sense and all the new stuff was great.

Snowflakian 02-25-2015 12:42 PM

Got Ant-man today. K-mart had 12 of him. So if anyone else is still looking for one, shoot me a message. Willing to trade for Red She-Hulk or the new Samus Aran world of nintendo figure.

ukmu 02-25-2015 01:01 PM

That Whirlwind at Chinabay prices wholesale could make great Kree army builders with no painting and some heads from our very own KREE Madre K-DUB. Maybe a decal.for.the.chest and some blue on the hands. 4 of those with a custom Ronan in the middle would be pretty tough to beat for my eyes!

jedirulz123 02-25-2015 02:55 PM

I need a Thanos, and I need advice on which one. I know the MU one is just regurgitated with slightly different paints each time, but I tend to like my larger characters large - my Red and Green Hulk are Legends figure, and I'm getting Legends AoU Ultron - so do I wait for the BAF Thanos to come down in price of eBay like Groot eventually did? I'd get Select Thanos, but he looks like Alien Richard III with his grim face and hunchback.
