Am I the only one that feels like the Figuarts line has become like 75% Dragonball and 25% everything else lately? When was the last time we got a Sailor Moon announcement? Or a Tiger & Bunny figure? There hasn't been a single Sentai figure in like 3 years now (though I guess the repaints with the AMerican heads is something). Did they forget there are other characters in Code Geass beyond Ledouche? Or Mario? When was the last Mario figure or set? How about reissuing Yoshi for those that missed him?

But why reissue Yoshi? I just got one on sale at HLJ.com a few weeks ago for around $15, and I've seen both him and Fire Mario marked down on Amazon in the $20 range recently.

Yes, March of 2019 is the official release month but the pre-orders can go live months in advance like in this case. Once it is released, some of these stores might have extras but you'd have to be quick or willing to pay a bit more as more than likely the prices will rise for most of the desired figures.

Those lines were made, though, but they aren't something like Dragon Ball, which does well in sales both in Japan and worldwide. It's also a brand that has the benefit of having collectors who would buy ten versions of the same character like Goku and Vegeta with slight remolds and new hair pieces to easily help fund the budget for more original characters like an Evil Buu.

Because of that it's understandable why Bandai is focusing it's attention on the big brands instead of rushing out something like more Sentais, where the only major interest was for select eras like Zyuranger/MMPR, and that interest kind of dried up once Bandai finished making those figures. Or why something like Ranma 1/2 only gets like four figures total for the main characters and that's that.

It's not meant as a knock on those other franchises and their fans, though, it's just how it is.


It's like $38.50 on there right now from a seller with Prime shipping available, which is basically retail. He's also $27.99 at BBTS right now as well.

I really think if Bandai should reissue something, it should probably be a Figuart that is long sold out selling on eBay for like $100 plus, and not a figure that has been readily available for well over a year and is still selling new for retail or less.

BP is here...not before some drama as it happens sometimes with USPS. Folks...if your name is not what is in the box being delivered to you, and the box is signature required, DON'T sign for it! Some idiot whom I had to track down for the post office, with a very different address and name from mine, signed for my box. WTF? And if you're the delivery postal person...why deliver it to a different address to a person with a different first and last name as what the box says???

Anyways...good thing I caught it fast...called it in....tracked it for the post office...got it delivered back to me and thankfully that person didn't have time to open MY box.

I would have preferred Friday because i do love seeing Cosplay(especially the ladies..heh)..But there were still tons of people doing it.

i also took two comics to get graded ..so there's that.
would have like to hit up artists alley.. but by time i covered the main floor is was already 7pm.


oh..i picked up Bulma too!!!...
They RE-re-released Cell back with the original colors...i WISHED i had that one but oh well.
i was gonna pick up a Broly to sell...but decided against it.
They also had the Goku with the halo..whichever one that was...
but at closer inspection..i didn't really care for it.


side note: i totally missed the evil majin buu preorder...
i HOPE i can find this thing when it comes out.
i actually wanted 2 but will glad to find just one.

Sadly...had to cancel him. Seller apparently got flooded out. When I'm refunded I'll re-order him from a different seller.

I used to think Figuarts were overpriced (Some still are) and overly fragile but in the past year they've become my favorite line of figures. Maybe tied with ML.

They included that power pole for free.

They’re expensive. I had to stop collection just about everything else for that reason. It is the best toyline in my opinion.
