the CP's coming out are some of the best ever. all aspects of MU keep getting better, and better. entertaining this rumor is silly.

from what ive heard is that this wave with adam warlock and mr sinister was short cased and many retailers orders were cancelled..

though, if they did stop making Comic Packs(Which is totally lame. these are comic figures), it would go the route of star wars and all the comic pack stuff shown at all the cons and such would be released at Entertainmentearth and BBTS. so we'd still get them.

Target seems to be the go to place for MU compared to shelves. TRU is take it or leave it, and Walmart depends on the Walmart. one by my work has sentinels, comicpacks, and single figures. tons of them. one across town near the other TRU has them all in Clearance. Go Fig.

Marvel will be starting its Marvel Universe TV Block on Disney XD, and hopfully with the exposure of an actual TV Block, it could lead to an increase in products at Stores if Hasbro piggybacks off of it. the Marvel Universe MMO will also give the brand name more exposure. Commercials would be nice too.

this year could be a make or break year for MU tbh. Marvel Legends is coming out which angers me to no end. I dont like Hasbro putting out a second toyline for Marvel that aims for the exact same thing except bigger. I'm hoping the Price hike will kill it as ML had problems itself during the end of Toybiz. I dont like it one bit.

Hasbro needs to push MU as its Third Best Toyline. after Star Wars and Transformers obviously. those are Hasbros bread and butter. We dont want MU to go the way of GIJoe. limited releases, pegwarmers, the same duke and snakeeyes show on the pegs. gotta get the kids behind it. there should be a marvel universe commercial on nickelodeon, cartoon network, Disney XD, and ESPECALLY the HUB once an hour. we need to pull together and keep this thing going because its been good for us. the last few years rocked, and I freakin hate walking into my LCBS and being told by the guy who runs it he thinks MU will die that year.

I do not want to see MU end up like DC's Infinite Heroes, letting the taller figure survive longer. :/

Edit : And if Comic Packs are getting Cancelled, I want Hasbro to put that money into more boxed sets and vehicles and gigantic battles. With Comics!

I'd like to get my hands on all the new 2packs, Quicksilver and powerman look awesome, sinister and Gambit look good, thanos and adam warlock look great, the mandarin vs iron man pack looks good, both solid figures, a version of mandarin for those who can't find or refuse to pay scalper/collector pricing. I'd get 1 to keep moc and maybe another to open.

I dunno about the other guys but I have OCD :P

The Black Spider Custom card is for the Spidy/Magneto pack, i make the custom card in Photoshop and the Multipleman plastic bubble, Cyclops is for the Phoenix Pack in the Astonishing Cyclops Blister, I am thinking about doing some cards for some other figures that exceed in my collection.
