would anybody recommend vykron? i passed on him at sdcc but i kinda dig the space armor..

I like and recommend Vykron. I have 3 so I could display all 3 versions of him. Personally, I like the Tank/Army version the best, then the barbarian, and then the Space Ace version.

Depends on how hardcore of a collector you are. I bought him because I had to have all of the figures, but in all honesty I don't really care for him. Basically just used him to create a simple custom using head/part swaps.

The armors are very gimmicky. The barbarian head has a dumb helmet. The space armor fits too loosely and looks too big for the figure. The tank armor has no place in MOTU whatsoever. Just my opinion.

All that being said, I still think it's hard to pass up for the current price, if you don't have one yet. He's very useful for parts swapping.

i basically collect anything that the vintage line put out, plus any new figs/concept figs that would have appealed to my younger self. like, if five year old me saw vykron in the store would he buy it? sounds silly haha but it's just my way. for instance, if my five year old self saw draego-man in the stores i would have wanted him. i treat any new figs/concept figs like waves that would have come out had the original 80's line not ended.

Trap Jaw sold out now Man-E-Faces is up for sale. It looks like the new additions are only going to be at the top of the page, but I could be wrong.

The deals today are changing and/or being corrected all over the place.

Boo to cyber Monday!! I have all these damn figures. I need all 3 versions of the SDCC King Grayskull, Wun-Dar, Color Change Orko, Queen Marlena, Shadow Weaver, & Star Sisters. That's all! I've been eyeballing this damn sale all day with nothing to show for it :/

i'm hoping to see a bronzed king grayskull as well. just pipe dreamin' though.

I'd rather have a Spirit of Grayskull. I've never seen one anywhere! But I would def settle for a bronze one.

HOLY SHIT. my mind is totally blown! i never knew about the all clear blue spirit version of grayskull and i've been collecting the line since the beginning. damn, that is a grail right there.

Supposedly there was only 2 made. One was raffled off at SDCC in '08 and the other was auctioned for charity. As far as I know anyway. But I also heard they were randomly inserted like the bronze ones..


Bonus note. I just scored a Queen Marlena! Finally Matty!!

Flash sales are over. Marlena was the last one.

That blows. I went to the gym and Keldor was up, came home and Marlena was up and sold out. She was on my list today too. Maybe next time.

picked up some castle gray skull stands, some snake mountain stands, and vykron for the hell of it. woot!

I was still itching to spend some money too, so I bought Catra and a few more packs of Grayskull stands.

At home I have Stinkor, Mekanek, Pimp Juice Randor, and the Unrest Pack, all unopened.

Enroute I have Snout Spout, Faker, Sorceress, Catra, & a Wind Raider.

I'm considering waiting until all of the Thanksgiving Sale stuff arrives and having a big open my pile of new Classics event.

you'll start slowly and carefully opening the packages and then by your 3rd fig you'll be ripping boxes open and flinging the trash all across the room!
