I think it's because Sword is still so relatively new, being only around ten years old with not many appearances or moments of great credibility in that time they aren't big on most customizers thoughts I'd reckon. I have seen a custom Abigail Brand, but no one's jumping to have Sword that much.

I surely can't be the only one here with a Brand...

kylactus 03-20-2015 03:07 PM

dude, I always love the effects in your pics. those Kree and Ronin look amazing

UrsaMagnus 03-20-2015 03:15 PM

So. Much. Love.

The versatility of the Death's Head figure never ceases to amaze. That Ronan looks absolutely fantastic! Yet another example of a figure Hasbro could make with minimal effort and make fans all kinds of happy.

kylactus 03-20-2015 08:12 PM

so looking back we got a first appearance Cap and Wolverine and now a grey beast (technically not his first appearance, but first with fur) and the Avengers three pack with a lot of firsts in too. It got me wondering, who would you guys most like to see a first appearance (or iconic/ classic/ obscure look)of in 3.75 form. for me it's gotta' be short pants Juggernaut with a bell helmet, or first appearance Cable.

UrsaMagnus 03-20-2015 08:14 PM

First appearance Wonder Man. That crazy costume needs to happen.

En Sabah Nerd 03-20-2015 09:00 PM

Mullet Nova!!!!!!! :p

Being serious, Mr. Knight would be great. Seriously, like just a repaint of Professor X with a new head and some weapons would be a crazy easy Mr. Knight.

Damn good call! that is a fantastic costume. and I doubt many modern Marvel fans who haven't done there homework would even recognize him.

plus if we get him and first appearance Wasp we have all the first appearance Avengers. then we're one box set away from the X-men (and yes I want a prof. in a real wheel chair). and Banshee in the green costume.

UrsaMagnus 03-20-2015 09:48 PM

As far as First Appearance Wasp, we do have the small version that came in the Avengers box set. Unless you were referring to a full-size figure of course.

I wonder if these new Miles Spider-Man figures will have paint apps on the back or not.

First appearance Black Widow with the mask and fishnets.

WOW! I didn't even know of that one. bad ass!

Kernel 03-20-2015 11:23 PM

I would buy that. I would like a 1st appearance gamora, I guess I'm a sucker for fishnets too.

I dunno 'bout that. I can't really say since I am a Wonder Man fan, but I feel like the big red 'W' would still give him away. Simon's costume has tended to keep the big red 'W' on his chest, except for the time it was yellow with the 'M' or the red sports jacket look.

ukmu 03-21-2015 01:22 AM

I would like to see Baron von Strucker first appearance from Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos #5

ukmu 03-21-2015 01:34 AM

Also....the Kree unit is looking amazing my friend!!!!!! really, I am in awe.

Right Hasbro....make those happen! I will make those myself though now. I think four whirlwinds with 4 Red Guardian heads cast in blue and 4green belts should do it nicely! I know Vort even has a set with both. Also 4 water slide decals and BAM....just as good as factory. Then make me some Ronan action! I am tired of not getting in on that! He looks so cool....

UrsaMagnus 03-21-2015 08:48 AM

Agreed. It kills me that he's so obviously missing from my shelf, especially with the other Annihilators. I currently have the GotG battler-thing version of him standing there, but he's too tall and I'd much rather have a proper one.

ukmu 03-21-2015 09:42 AM

right Ursa.... enough teasing, time to put out! Show us them shelves!!!! Everything you have shown to date has been amazing. I think it is safe to say that we all like you, except for Samsson but he needs medicine, and we want the full monty!!! Sorry Samsson ( I say while secretly playing with Skurge )

And I still cant find my bag with about 60-70 clear stands and several Stage 3 flight stands..... me mad now, me no like, me miss stands

I have the same problem UrsaMagnus... I was going to grab a spare Collosuss and use the headset from my son's imaginext Green Arrow.. started washing him up with soap and water... then I decided I'd rather use Death's Head to make Ronan after seeing the pics and not wanting to drill holes in Collossus' hands. Then I was gonna pick up that battler just for the hammer. Then I started thinking do I want to spend this much $ and time to make Ronan (I would also order a blue Collosuss head from Vortious). I've been hesitating like crazy... Maybe I'll wait until after SDCC and if they don't announce him I'll start my comic version of Ronan.

So folks told me about a comic shop about and hour and 15 mins from my house that has a large stock of older comic figures. I picked up Ares, Doc Samson & Hobgoblin (no glider, now I need 2) It was an awesome store I'll def be going back. Had lots of legends and the old 5" toy biz figures. I'm going back in 2-3 weeks I'll really dig through the shelves then. Anyway I modified the Ares & Goblin asa I got home. Just swapped out the cape & head from the 3.75" spider line. Ares has the holster from Deathlok & the belt is from Age of Thunder Thor. I'll prob hit up Vortuous for the arm & correct sword. It was a nice Bday present to score some new Marvel figs. I'll be 30 tomorrow can't believe I'm still playing toys :)
