And those would be...??? I have no idea who was originally rumored... the list was originally those figures that were verified and then I just added what was "found" in the last few days but I'm more than willing to add any rumored ones you know of. So, please do share..

Thank you,

Like I said, right there with ya. And your idea about the GoTG wave having him as the BAF is in line with my thoughts as well. Would have loved getting a much more Spidey-oriented big character in this Spidey wave.

I forget if this is all, but it was Cobra instead of Eel, Tigra and Crossbones got cut (rumor) in favor of Wonder Man.

Wasn't there also some kind of red or blue battler or hero as well? Or maybe that ended up being one of these other figures. I don't know anymore. The civil war figure leak was full of vague descriptions...

Yep, the 3 "red and blue" figures ended up being Cap, IM and Panther.

Jcon 02-24-2016 04:30 PM

whatever happened to the legends Crossbones we were getting?

I think it's coming out in the same wave as that Legends Scarlet Witch.

I hope its a movie one with an unhelmeted head. That movie cb is tits!

Kirathis 02-24-2016 04:53 PM

The next Spidey wave is a definite buy for me. I for sure want Miles and Silk and unlike most, I like the new armored Venom. I stopped reading just before the new series came out though so no clue how it has progressed. I agree that it is a bit of an odd choice for a Spidey wave BAF at this point but I will take it.

As for Angela, I will not be surprised at all to find out she is part of whatever we get for this year's SDCC set.

Question for those who have the full Cap wave. Are Cap and Cottonmouth worth picking up? I do not have a classic looking Cap in my collection so I have been debating him. At that point I am only one figure out from the full BAF. I do not really care about Red Onslaught nor regular Onslaught but it's kind of a meh, may as well when I am that close. Thoughts?

Captain Nash 02-24-2016 05:02 PM

Oh gosh, if Angela is in an SDCC set after winning that poll, there will be fanriots. It will be as ugly as if they were to release Enchantress in an SDCC set.

Nah, I think the Angela will be in either the GOTG2 wave or the Thor wave.

As for your figures question, I don't have the Cottonmouth but I did pick up Cap. It's a great figure, it's definitely classic cap all the way. Honestly with it I think there is no need for another Cap ever....plus...CapWolf.

Harbinger 02-24-2016 05:38 PM

I picked up scourge. Hes too small to be d-man to me ( his outfit is d-man scourge but fig is def undersized ) but he does make a good merc type figure with an unmasked head.

Yea, im probably going to get the whole spidey wave as well, i also like Space knight Venom, while i will always have a fondness for Eddie Brock venom, the new one has kinda of grown on me.

As far as Cap goes, i think he's an excellent figure, it's kind of a hard choice to keep him as Cap or Cap Wolf.

Why not both??

But yeah, she could easily fit in with the Thor wave given the Original Sin reveal.

I'm sure I read that at NYCC or something they said Angela would be released in 2017, which could tie into either Thor or GotG movie waves as people have speculated.

Well if it is anything like the last MU 3.75 poll, we'll see Executioner, Sif, Nebula, etc. in no time.

MU 3.75 SDCC Poll 2014: Ulik, Dormammu, Yondu, Armored Spider-Man, Vision, Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers), Gamora, Morbius, Triton, Living Laser

All of the losers from the 3.75 poll are being produced and distributed along with the actual winners. The only character from above that has not been created in MU scale is Dormammu.

The rumor is that it's not coming out now at all. No news on when. But this is just a rumor so far.

I hope it's not true. We need a new Crossbones. The older ones are hard to get and apparently they weren't the best figures from what I've heard....

Speaking of which, I wonder what will be the hard to get figures this year. Definitely Deadpool and Rogue. I could see Black Panther being pretty difficult since it's his first MCU appearance. Scarlet Witch as well for the same reason plus being a female Legends; I'm hoping we don't see another Black Widow situation. Nick Fury could be pretty bad too, because of the army building factor. Maybe Miles, too?

Captain Nash 02-25-2016 08:51 AM

Yeah I see those as being the hard to get figures. Kitty Pryde too, to a less extent, as we do at least have a decent version of her already. I don't think Phoenix will be as there is another Jean Grey, nor the rest of that wave should be an issue.

I think I'm going to be better off just getting the X-wave case, as much as i've grumbled about the wave line up. I can't see me getting a full case on anything else though, I just don't want too many of the figures.

Oh, the Walmart 2 pack is also going to be a PITA to find. Because...Walmart.

Robb 02-25-2016 09:50 AM

I picked up an extra Venom and Spider-Gwen if someone needs them. Cost plus shipping.

I have had luck once with Walmart. I found the Cannonball and Domino 2 packs years ago by chance but the Cable and Jean 2 pack were given to me by a friend who was cleaning out his collection. Every time I see Walmart exclusive on something, I feel bad.But since I don't really buy movie stuff, I'll be ok this time around. IF I see any, I might buy them if anyone is looking. I'll let people know what I find.

God, I hope not. Walmart's starting to get better when it comes to their exclusives - my wife collects Monster High/Ever After High dolls, and for some reason Mattel really loves giving Walmart exclusives, so we're hunting a lot. We're finding them more often than we used to, so I hope that extends to other exclusives as well. I'm not really in the market for the Walmart exclusive MLs myself, but I have two friends who would love that pack.

As for the case, I'm with you. I think a lot of the upcoming figures are really cool, but I'm not going to be buying a lot of them, at least not enough to warrant buying cases. I still need to get a Red Onslaught case, but other than that, X-Men's the only one I don't want to have to try and hunt down every figure. Even the only other BAF I want, the upcoming Dormammu, I'd rather try and barter pieces off of other Arkers/get on eBay.

Yeah I have the Ares wave one and he sucks bad. Mainly because of the height, but the base body isn't that good either. I feel the same way about this that you do.

I think you pretty much nailed it.

Any interest in trading for earlier figures I may have in my trade list? I'm down.

If you do see them, I might be down to trade for a loose Winter Soldier or maybe something else (forget what all is coming to WM). Just so you're informed.

I may be helping others with those packs if I find any. Around here, it's usually months after they first show that we get them (SW Ct.)

Kirathis 02-25-2016 06:07 PM

I definitely agree with the list of harder to find figures for the upcoming waves. However, after the fan rage about Black Widow I really do think Hasbro learned their lesson. That definitely stopped the swap practice from prior waves which was the big reason for the shortage on Black Widow.

I am too lazy to go look at the count but if the X wave has a double-pack, I still say Hasbro is insane if it's not Deadpool. I still maintain that would probably be the first double-packed figure in history not to peg warm if for no other reason than there are fewer Deadpool Legends figures, he's insanely popular right now and the ones that exist are harder to come by without spending a fortune.

As for buying wave cases, I am most likely going to do so for the next Spidey wave as I want nearly every figure in it. Kind of meh about Electro (always thought his costume looked dumb) and Hobgoblin but the rest are definite buys for me so getting a case just seems easier than dealing with hunting figures individually. I may just have to buy the X wave as a case too since it just so happens to include basically every X character I would actually want to have. Would have rather had something other than Juggernaut for the BAF but that's just because I do not really care about Juggs.

Sadly I want the Ant-Man BAF but I think Black Panther and Fury (ok one Fury and another 6 agents) are the only ones I want from the Cap wave.

Oh and I want the new Punisher but I cannot remember what wave he's in and again...too lazy to go look.

If we don't get Crossbones outright it's always possible someone will do a box set for Civil War he gets released in.

Was the Bruce Banner in the Age of Ultron box set a new fig?
