Ok so the left leg worked perfectly. Right leg is a bit loose. I even heated back up and froze again. It just seems to be looser. Not major though, kinda like a worn in figure. Now what do we think about the head. Drill out or sand down the peg?

Those legs worked well!! There are great tips on loose joints on figure realm ( and Tommy Chong could help as well )

I would think a bit of drilling AND a bit of sanding the post would work best. At least he will be able to look up now.

just got this guy at the grocery store! Stopped in for cat biscuits and cheese....entire wave 1 was there! I had said I wasnt get any of this wave, but when your local gets them in you have to siupport their choice! Hasbro went from ZERO in distrobution to now they are everywhere.... I dont say this often, but credit is due where credit is due....WELL DONE HASBRO!!!

It may not seem a big deal but here in the UK finding figures is a rarity to say the least.

It's true, I don't think I ever saw an MU figure in any of my local toy shops until the Infinite rebrand.
I might actually have to get Bishop, for the head and accesories to add to my custom.

Was it that bad? When I was a youngun I had a toy submarine that I played with in the tub, good ol' innocent times.

Does the cat like cheese on his biscuits? Or...are you eating the biscuits???????

It's been quite a while since I shared any sketches here. Firstly I recall there being a rumor about this guy getting an individual figure release similar to how the Guardians got broken down. So that will be nice for those who missed out the first time since it was (as I recall) a harder pack to find, it's Black Bolt! Oh and they're making an Inhumans movie too, so we can look forward to that.
http://i853.photobucket.com/albums/a...pswlrf7b1h.jpg
Secondly, I recently declared an interest in Hasbro making a figure of Mr. Knight, Moon Knight's recent street legal alias. It would be so easy for Hasbro to repaint the Professor-X and just give it a new head with the truncheon weapon two-piece staff that Daredevil and Mockingbird came with. If you're not comfortable with blood then that's not blood, he just had a great disagreement at the local farmers market over some tomatoes, it's Mr. Knight!

^ Nice pics... but I assume that is actual blood on Mr. Knight.. En Sabah Blood... you suffer for your work like Birdman (the actor not the rapper).

I still need to upgrade to a new console. I'm not sure what to go with but I'm waiting until Arkham Knight comes out.

I felt kind of swindled and pimped when I saw the new figs on HTS for $10 (even cheaper with coupon codes) after what I paid BBTS for them. I stopped by Target today tho and not a sign of any new MI stuff anywhere around me so I'll just rationalize it by saying that I paid a premium for the early delivery.

You could make that Mr Knight using the upcoming Chameleon figure and either a casted Deadpool or Black Panther head.

Or Hasbro could. Not 100% accurate, but oh well.

305Batman, we call everything biscuits here that are crunchy. Cat biscuits, are what you might call simply cat food. Small and crunchy... The cheese was for me, Red Leicester, my favourite. (Pronounced Lester) also wort noting Worchester Sauce is pronounced Wooster and rhymes with rooster, I know everyone says( or tries to say) war Chester. I know.... drink it in, take a moment.....Wooster.

In other news at 7 am we are gonna open Bishop as last night was hectic. Think I will go back and get Sandman this morning too. He is in the EARTHS MIGHTIEST HEROES, AVENGERS CHARACTER ENCYCLPEDIA as a baddie so it is ok. The reason we don't Spidey is we originally had a huge lot of 6" Spidey figures we got at a charity shop. When we got into the mother scale (nice one, just thought of that) anyway the mother scale 3.75" we didn't get any. Long traded those though. If we do Spidey then Anti Venom and the Kingpin kit along with others and it is over $200 quickly. Landing close to 300 for the Spidey verse, then I know me and playset will come adding another hundred. Just an extra $400 for something I am without having for now. Someday I supose though, someday.

As someone who is fond of linguistics and language, I have to clarify your statements. Keep in mind though, that I am not very familiar with colloquial British pronunciation, so this is just based off of my own experience as a native American English speaker who grew up on the West Coast. 'Worcester' (correct spelling does not include an 'h,' though I've heard many people still try to pronounce it like war-chester, as you mentioned), does not actually rhyme with 'rooster.' 'Rooster' has an 'oo' vowel sound as in 'goo' or 'shoe' or 'too.' 'Worcester' has the vowel sound known in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) as a 'horseshoe u.' It's the same vowel in words like 'good' or 'would.' Hence, since they have different vowel sounds, they are not perfect rhymes. It would be like saying "could" and "cooed" rhyme. Those two words share the exact same consonant sounds and are separated by nothing but the different vowel sounds found in 'Worcester" and 'rooster.' However, someone like Eminem could surely rhyme them. You just have to fake it. All this being said, your pronunciation of some uncommon words like 'Worcester' may be unique in that it is a very British word, but, if I recall correctly, you grew up in the US, so perhaps you pronounce it neither exactly like an American nor exactly like a Brit.

Sorry for the lecture. You may now return to your regularly scheduled action figure discussion.

ukmu 03-25-2015 01:11 AM

yes...im a yank. From Maui, I have dual nationality.

When I first moved here it blew me away...like 20%of the words were different here..like biscuit mentioned aboved. I do say toe-mah-toe. Even DERBY is pronounced DARBY, but yah, Worcester rhymes with rooster, the RCE in the middle are silent like Leicester the ICE in the middle are silent. Things are just VERY old here. Most of these names are places and have gone by that name since Roman occupation of the island. Some even go back to when the Vikings lived here. Anyway, some places like Cheddar you know and some like Derby (darby) Lesiceter (lester) are different for whatever reason..... got me. By the way an English muffin is a muffin, a muffin is a bun, a bun is a bap and so on and so on. About 20% across the board. Moving on....crumpets are awesome! And yes, I now put milk in my tea.

Opened up Bishop just a few minutes ago.... i was very surprised by the elbow swivel. Didnt think he would pose right with his riffle but it works fine. Not gonna mention the articulation as we all already know. Got lucky (I guess) as the paint apps on him are spot on. No slop at all. There are 2 Sandman at the store, hope I get the one with a tight torso swivel.

Also, I hope the first case there sells well but they dont order three or four of the same wave and i never see 2015 w.2 there. I would buy at least half of the figures i said i wouldnt buy if my local carried them just to support them.

EDIT: got back with Sandman and he has a nice tight torso, so yea me. Also I didnt know that his shirt wasnt painted on theback....kinda lame.

Also the rooster thing I was incorrect. A bit of a northern accent i hear. Wooster rhymes with muster or custer. I learn everyday here.
My wife LOVES to correct me as well. Bloody woman! ;)
