I had 4 of those sets on my BST for over a month before putting them on evilBay... lol.

In other news, Comic packs continue to trickle:

I already had the DD/WM ones, but I picked them up for you guys. Let me know if you want any before they flip over to evilBay or back to the store. You'll notice they weren't all that cheap at my Target too. :|

What about this movie Sandman? Little bigger than other figures but I think it is ok with his size changing powers. Also 4 interchangeable hands...

That's what I did too. My local TRU is literally directly across the street from a mall with a Disney Store. I did the swaperoo when the set first came out and was $35 at TRU.

..and just like everyone else, there's a stack of the variant sets at my Disney Store again (they re-upped around xmas) for $50.

SH0CKWAVE 01-19-2012 09:02 AM

i dont appreciate XF Warpath falling off my display shelf and being unable to find one of his knives.

I waited until TRU's extremely brief BOGO 50% sale and replaced the $50 one with a $27 one. ;) Too bad those don't happen more often...

yeah... i know its in my room somewhere. haha. come on, knife! show yourself!

i managed to find one... the other has probably run away to that mysterious place where lost lighters go.

scary part is we have to vacuum soon!! i'll make sure not to let the wife do it before i do. wouldn't want to blame her for my debacle. ;)

D00MTR0N 01-19-2012 09:51 AM

thats why I try to keep the gumbands attached to the weapon and hand.

usagent27 01-19-2012 09:55 AM

What works for me is wax. i use the wax from Babybell cheese and it works great. Saw a guy on youtube Slingsaweb do it

SH0CKWAVE 01-19-2012 09:57 AM

good tips.

my justification now is that WP doesn't need two knives to kick your ass.

haha.

I didn't vacuum my man room for about a month over the summer because a MiniMates arm popped off as I was removing it from the box and I couldn't find it. I eventually found it and was able to clean again.

If the rubber bands are on well, and the weapon is held how I want, I try to keep them on too. Baby Hope has been strapped on since I opened Cable.

You guys can also try Quakehold, or that tacky stuff they sell to hang posters (Quakehold is the same thing).

usagent27 01-19-2012 10:38 AM

just got back from my local Target. Grabbed the last DD pack for Finnsthehuman, they had 2 last night and only one today. no Wonderman and Quicksilver packs were left. Anyone else need these if i see them?

My wife slams the bathroom door all the time and HERBIE falls off the shelf mostly. One time antman fell, the one that came with yellowjacket. Always tell her to be careful. It's crazy looking through a whole room just for a tiny piece of plastic

Optimus Vader 01-19-2012 10:59 AM

HERBIE is a mess. Cool little bot, but I'm not sure why they made him with that forward lean. Mine falls over all the time with or without the fiance's help.

I seen that, or check out the 1 Jin Saotome is selling, it's a regular MU archangel but he's including the deathmask head and wings to go with, pretty sweet.

Dinofreak 01-19-2012 01:16 PM

Just bought two figures.

The first one is a littlebit expensive, but a fine piece of 90 water works...

the second one was a BAF nemesis, 70 Bucks
