They do. They fold up into discs (remember, these are Cybertonian/alien forms, not Earth) and go into a new Voyager Soundwave (or Soundblaster--same mold/different color).

Voyager Soundwave is $23 (he comes with Laserbeak disc). A two pack of discs is $11.

Soundwave is my favorite and I have been unimpressed with Transformers as of late, so much that I stopped checking to see what was coming out for a hot sec...This put me right back in the mix, I gotta get that Grimlock too!!!

Yeah, been a Soundwave fan since my parents bought me the G1 toy back in 1984 (damn, I'm getting old). And I love the updated gimmick they gave him and his minions for FOC. I will definitely get both Soundwave and Soundblaster, as well as all of the Minion 2-packs.

How close are you to Philly? I can point you to a few right now (pm). Although if it's not that close I'd just hold for a week. The whole WFC Voyager case is pretty much Soundwave, so I'm sure he'll be easy as hell to come by.

Hmm, I'd guess about 8-9 hours if I drove straight from West Michigan only stopping for gas lol. Too far to travel. My area is usually a few months behind. I'll hold a bit longer.

Ha! I decided to go to TRU a bit out of the way. Nothing much left on the shelves. Still have the BOGO 40% sale. I notice for once, they finally have some boxes up top. I cracked a fresh case of Generations and Prime RiD Voyagers... No Grimlock or Dread Wing, but I did walk away with these..

Guys, those TF look great! May have to start collecting! After seeing that Grim-Lock, I think It is safe to say that I will not pass this guy up when I see him in the wild! Happy holidays folks!

I still can't figure out why they would put Soundwave and Soundblaster in the same case. That Soundwave is a thing of beauty, though.
I posted this elsewhere, but I may as well follow up here. Sort of my homage to the game. Anyone who has played it will recognize it.

Yeah man, I was geeked when I saw the fresh case. Then befuddled when I saw 2 Soundwaves & 2 Blasters. I looked at each figure like 3 times to make sure I wasn't overlooking a Grimlock in excitement...

LOL I'm getting old too because my parents got me G1 Soundwave back in 84 as well...I do have the TRU Reissue from a few years ago (that came with Laserbeak and Ravage), and I have the Takara Encore set of cassettes with Frenzy, Rumble, Overkill, and Laserbeak. I think I may pull the trigger on the MP Soundwave at some point in the near future.

On a side note, I will be hunting for the new FOC Soundwave/Soundblaster tomorrow while I'm finishing up my Xmas shopping!!!
