I did a bit of shopping the last two days

Marvel Universe 3 3 4" Silver Centurion Iron Man Skrull Action Figures Loose | eBay

Bought mainly the for the Silver Centurion even though he's missing his shoulder pads, I'm gonna take his arms off and see how they look on the Thor body I'm using. Didn't want to try it using the SC in my collection, plus I can use the rest of his body for painting practice or the whole thing if the arms dont work out. The Skrull is just a sugar coated bonus.

Marvel Universe Frost Giant 4" Thor Movie Series Figures Hasbro New Mint New | eBay

$8.50 for a Frost Giant with all accessories? Why not? I still need to get the Gigantic Battles set, but they're too pricey online. Hopefully ill see one at the next con I go to.

Then I bought the ToyBiz Spider-Man movie figure with the lamp post so I could steal K Dubious' idea in this post: http://www.toyark.com/showpost.php?p...ostcount=13536

Thanks for the idea K-Dub, it really is a great looking piece and scales perfectly :D

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully I can find someone to dump Daredevil off onto, but the rest of the wave looks like keepers.

Where are Northstar and Colosonaught?

Kernel 04-05-2015 08:35 PM

^ I was hoping those would be in this wave too, but It's so much easier when hasbro packs the new ones at 2 per case.

Does it bother anyone else that Doc Ock has a 'k' in his name? I know that's how it's pretty much always been spelled, but it has also always bothered me that it's there since there is no 'k' in octopus or Octavius. I always figured it was a phonetics thing and it's really miniscule but it's intriguing for that very reason.

ukmu 04-06-2015 01:21 AM

what is the alternative? Dr. Otto? Doctor Tave? OC i think would be seen as an abbreviation rather than a name. Not too many names are 2 letters, in fact none really unless it is a shortened version like Al. I think that Doc Oc, would read Doc Ohh See..... like oh my gawd and stuff...doc o c like as in like the O. C. and stuff like wow and and stuff.

Autobot_Goldbug 04-06-2015 03:42 AM

ukmu
that is now the same card backs we have in the U.S,
I suppose they are saving costs by using it for the entire western hemisphere.

ukmu 04-06-2015 03:51 AM

Marvel Infinites 2015 Shanna 3 75 " RARE New in Hand and Ready to SHIP | eBay

well they are on he back officially now i suppose! we have have the same here in UK&Eu as well, it is the pics of the missing two on it that is interesting.... curiopus if they will be on US backs as well now, safe bet they will be.

As for the last year we are STILL left asking where are they?

good looking out raf on posting the BBTS stocking

ChuckSass 04-06-2015 05:33 AM

so Emma, Juger-Colossus and Northstar are next wave?

I may pick up Miles and Shanna so I can have a version of each character, I just wish Shanna had bare feet, those boots are not cute.

I was stuck indoors all day with my sick 3 year old daughter, but the plus side was she helped me do some customs and I got started on some things.

I don't think the English language has any two letter names that aren't shortened from something else. I'm sure there are some people named just Ed, Al, or Ty but even if that's what it says on their birth certificate the name itself is still short for something else. Other languages have two letter names that aren't short for anything else, but that's not what we're lookin' at here. Either way the 'K' is there for phonetic reasons, but it still looks at me funny and calls me names. I won't be getting this Doctor octopus toy though since I still disagree with the legs they chose to give him relative to that body. Luke Cage/Absorbing Man/Drax legs on a fat body with Dr Strange/Kang arms doesn't sit well with me.
